Replaced a old router with this unit. Took 10 mins from plug in to final setup. Could not have been easier. Gives me full speed of 60 mp, and full house coverage. Have only had to reset once in 35 days. Lights are very bright, so need to be aware of where you place. Highly recommend.

Previously had a 2-in-1 Netgear modem + wireless router provided by the cable company. After months of dealing with poor range, dropped signals and multiple resets I took the advice of a friend and dumped the 2-in-1 for this router paired with an Arris DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem. All I can say is that my home network now is twice as fast, I have greater range, and I have yet to need resetting of my network.

This replaces a router that was about 10 years old that got fried. The range is better with this, but I still decided to keep my second WAP since signal was still weak at opposite end of the house. Also, it did allow me to set up a 5GHz network, but that doesn't show up as a choice to connect my computer to, so I'm confused and disappointed in that. But it was an otherwise easy setup, and things have run smoothly in the first month so far.

purchased after instore representative recommended it. it was easy to install by directions. range is as advertised. dual signals are great can split usage and all still have full signal. i even have full signal outside the house up to 75 feet away from house. combined with a motorola modem is a little expensive but well worth the money.

This router is (by necessity) in one end of a 200 year old farm house with 2 large brick fireplace chimneys between it and several users. It succeeds in projecting its signal through most of the house, requiring just one booster to reach all users. This exceeded the performance of several earlier routers.

I needed to replace a 9 year old router to get the most from my bandwidth from Brighthouse. It was very easy to set up and hook up with my wifi items. The appt Netgear genie is great that let's me know the IP address for each item and upload and download speed. So far it covers my whole house with all 9 items hook up to it with great speed Good price with my rewards points and discount.

Compared this router with Asus and made the decision to go with this one. They both are equal in performance. This one was a little less expensive than the Asus. Performs well. Easy to set up. Not to bulky. Good for medium size house. Really like it.

Purchased to upgrade from a netgear router that was about 5 yrs old and what a difference. I have xfinity blast Internet, 150mpbs, and before wirelessly got around 90mbps now with new router pulling around 170mpbs so huge improvement there. Primarily purchased for the additional range, located in a central area and get more even coverage in all aread of home now, very happy!

I had a Small Business Client that had a huge open space in the middle with the majority of the employees in cubicles and all along the outside were offices and conference rooms. I did not have a single dead spot or point at which the signal dropped below 4 bars. It was easy to setup quickly and securely. I recommend this product if you can't get an enterprise class setup in time.

As we started streaming more and more of the television shows we were watching we were getting increasingly frustrated with our cable service. We were wrong...it was our old router. Once we upgraded to this dual band router all of our downloading issues disappeared. This model fit the bill in every regard, was easy to install and priced right.

My wife works from home and regularly has live video conferences with clients. We had to replace our previous router as it was not fast enough to keep up with the conference streaming and did not have sufficient signal strength to adequately reach where she was working. We experienced occasional cut-outs and dropped internet which pretty much ruined her conferences. We purchased this wireless router a few weeks ago when it was on sale and it has given us consistent signal strength and speed ever since. Though it does not impact us at all, I will give this word of warning: this wireless router has a fairly large footprint and the LED indicator lights are a piercingly bright white. Do not put this in a room where someone sleeps unless they need a night light.
