I had a router five years old that starting to disconnect on a regular basis so it was time to hunt for a new one. With so many brands out there is quite difficult to find the one for your particular needs. I reviewed this one before I purchased it and so far after 6 months is working flawlessly. It signals all thru the rooms. ( one flat house).

I needed a faster setup because my old netgear couldn't keep up. The setup was easy with the night hawk app. I haven't lost the wireless anywhere in our 2000 sq ft home.

This router replaces my nighthawk that used to work great but just began allowing down and not staying online. The 1750 is seemingly just as fast on my network and has good strength. Excellent buy for the money.

I am using this as a wireless access point to my existing Verizon supplied router. It has allowed me to set up both 2.4 and 5 GH extensions and coverage is much greater, even extending into the back yard. Additionally, I have hooked up a hard drive to the usb port and now use it as a network drive. The only negative thing I can think of at the moment is the usb port is on the front of the router and not the back, so as a result the cabling is not as neat as I would like it to be. The phone app to the router is decent. I strongly recommend doing a firmware upgrade upon purchase, and this will require a direct connection from your computer to a lan port. For the price, it is well worth the value.

I have purchased this router several times as I am the tech support for several friends and family. Its easy to configure, reliable and performs well. If your router is over 4 years old, consider replacing it with this.

I’ve had this almost a month and it works very well! My family and I are all able to stream movies, play games simultaneously! It’s compatible with Xfinity cable service also!
