Great value - no drops outages etc

My family and I are all able to stream movies, play games simultaneously! It’s compatible with Xfinity cable service also!

It is very simple to set up and it is very stable and the reception it's really good. I live in a three bedroom house and every single room gets great reception including the ones where there's multiple walls in between .

A Fast, Customizable Router

For someone like myself who was upgrading from a 8 year old router, I wasn't really sure what I was looking at. But this one was easy to set up, has lot of options, and a strong fast signal. Very pleased so far.

Router works well but setting up is clunky
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My Apple router went out so I went to Best Buy to shop for a replacement.. a nice salesman saved me a few bucks by asking me about my needs, an recommended this router. The setup was difficult because I was supposed to log on to the router using www.routerlogin.net. This did not work after many tries. I was about to go outside and stomp on my router but decided instead to log on to the Netgear website. I found one little paragraph telling me if that website doesn't work, use 192.168.1.1 instead. I was finally able to set up my router. However the Genie app for my iPad and my iPhone does not work properly. But the router itself works fine. And, setting up using 192.168.1.1 works ok but some steps are very slow so you might think your computer is locked up. I would recommend this product with reservations, the main advantage being the low price.

Easy install and great app

Wi-Fi 5 still great!
