Easy set up and works great. It has outstanding coverage and speed.

I bought this router to replace an old N600 router that was not reaching the far corner of my 1200 SF house. Now the far corner is also an addition to the house that was added a few years back, however there is a brick wall between it and the location of the router. It penetrates that wall well and gives me 75% signal in that room on all devices. Overall great router.

Extremely easy to set up. This is my fourth or fifth router and by far the easiest to set up and customize. I noticed a considerable increase in speed over my old 802.11 wireless n router, but surprisingly not as much extended range as I thought I'd get with the three antennas and dual channels. Coverage still doesn't reach the farthest bedroom in the house upstairs so I had to add an extender.

Easy setup. It is fast and reliable so far. Expensive but worth it.

Excellent router, fast and easy set up with the nighthawk app and the range is great. I even have a goid signal on my patio. I would definitely purchase this again.

I have an 1100 sq. ft. ranch style home plus a basement, the same size and I get great wireless signal in every room, including the basement. We operate two smart phones, a laptop, a desktop, smart tv and a Xbox without any interruptions. Our internet speed is 60 mbps and we get every bit of it both wirelessly and wired using this router. Great product!

When I made this purchase it was recommended by a friend, I can honestly say it’s the best there is no problems setting up and also once one sets up the system there is an account you can go to and reset or even check whose on the router or you can kick people out lol but overall it’s really good no problems easy to use

Great router that works. Setup was pretty straightforward. Avoid the Netgear mobile app for setup purposes as it's confusing, slow, and buggy. Do the setup the traditional way via your computer's internet browser using either routerlogin URL (provided in the manual) or 192.168.1.1. Both the 2.4 ghz and 5.0 ghz antennas work. No firmware issues after an auto-update. I hit my ISP's max speed that I paid for (300 Mbps) so I have no complaints. Some of Netgear's other routers are riddles with firmware bugs that brick your router. Beware of new Netgear router models! This R6400 has a stable firmware and is a tried and true model.

This is a great wifi router! Range is amazing. Covers my 2200 sq ft house and even outside on my covered deck with full strength signal. Speed in 5g mode is super fast. Setup was a breeze. Great bang for the buck.

I am paying for a 50 mbps connection. In the same room as the router I tested at 54 mbps. Obviously it's capable of supporting well past that. I went as far away as possible from the router and tested at 32 mbps (through 3 walls). Which is still an amazing speed. More than enough to stream high def Netflix. Very happy with this router.

I was looking for a new router because I was having issues with my Xbox One getting an Open NAT, like SO many others. I picked this one up because of good reviews and price. I am NOT disappointed in the slightest with my decision! After hooking it up and reconfiguring my ISP's internet gateway into a simple modem, I checked my Xbox One. Open NAT without any fancy setup! I have since had my friends over, trying to find the extent of what this router can handle. I've had THREE Xbox Ones ALL with an Open NAT (two playing Destiny, one watching Twitch) as well as 2 or 3 cellphones (surfing the internet or watching Youtube) connected and running simultaneously with very little lag or buffering. Did I mention I only have a 3Mbit DSL connection??

My old router was having problems with the number of wireless devices attached. I did a lot of research and purchased this one as the best bang for the buck. I could not be more satisfied. The performance is great. It handles a dozen wireless devices with no problems and the Gigabyte ports work wonderfully for my desktop it is next to. It is easy to configure through the web interface (you do not need to install the additional program from Netgear to configure it). It was plug and play after a short configuration. I could not ask for more and the price was within my budget. These routers have gotten really expensive and this one had the best price, best reviews and it has worked like a charm for the past 2 months with no problems.

This is a great router. I've had previous netgear routers but this one is by far the best. The setup was a breeze with the intuitive app allowing you to customize each setting. The range is impressive and it seems to finally allow me to fully connect without the frustration of laggy performance and the need to constantly reboot.

Couldn’t be happier with the quality and range for WiFi. Also great that it allows for specific devices to have preferentially higher speeds made available to them. I also like that there is a guest network option. Only 4 stars because the software needs and update that allows you to see the amount of data each device is currently pulling.

When my last router died (probably a power surge, even though it's on a battery-backup surge protector), I read various reviews and thought this one fit the bill of performance vs price. There were some better-sounding routers, but at twice the price. I had it set up and running in minutes, it seems to cover our whole house.

I bought this router to replace what the cable company provides, it has blown my expectations. Very good range. I intermediately saw the difference. I purchased it for my office and going back to get one for the home. Oh forgot to say very easy to set up.

I love Netgear WiFi routers. This is the 4th Netgear router purchase. They are easy to setup and are very reliable. Gives good coverage and high speed connection in my condo.
