Great router for a 2 bedroom apartment

It is perfect for my 2 bedroom, 1100-1200 Sq ft apartment. The WiFi signals for both the 2.4 and 5 ghz are great. I stream Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu on my 4K TV and have not had any problems. I would recommend this router!

Impressed by Netgear

With two USB ports, its ready to and is for me to attach USB storage to make it a NAS device. Great connection speeds with the wireless AC. Signal strength (set to the max) is very good and reaches farther than the D-Link did. No more dropped signals.

great router

I can actually get a strong signal in the back of my yard. Just make sure you lock it down so your neighbors don't get on it too.

Netgear ac1750 router

Some pluses and minuses

However, a problem I did have with the new Netgear router was when using Zoom. I would get multiple freezes during a Zoom call. Tech support walked me through some adjustments that reduced the size of data packs in play. Unfortunately this did not correct the problem. Getting through to Teck support was not easy (long wait times). I gave up and returned the unit. I correrted both problems by getting a newer router from my internet supplier that also included WIFI.

Good router

I like all the plugs and the ease of use. The lights are very bright though, so I have to cover it up at night or it lights up the room.
