Great router for advanced users works really good reaches all over house

Net gear offers some of the best products when setting up WiFi or enhancing signal strength. Step by step instructions makes installation of the products simple. Highly recommended.

I was having Netflix streaming issues with my last router even though my ISP runs at 65 Mbps so I bought this one hoping it would be faster. It is faster and my Netflix issue is fixed. However it took a day to get it installed. During the installation the instructions say that if the web site doesn't open use your browser to go to the site. I did and it installed but then I could not access the internet. My browser (Chrome) complained about not finding a DNS for any web site. I ended up uninstalling everything and started over This time I did not have my browser running and when I opened it the web site was opened automatically and the installation went okay and I could access the internet. The instructions don't say to not have your browser open but it appears having it open caused my problems.

Good speed for all my devices used in my home. Recommend

I bought this router to upgrade from an old N type router that still works, just wanted the latest technology. Setup was fairly easy and so far, the router has performed exceptionally well.

This little alien looking thing is AMAZING! It was so so easy to set up. I did buy an extender but realized that I don’t need it. The range on this thing is awesome!

Netgear continues to impress me as this was my first of the night hawk router series and bought one for my work environment and these routers have some serious range. Almost double the range of some of my older routers at my work. Got this on sale as well and would recommend if want some range with your wifi.

Was really what was needed in my situation. Original WiFi Modem supplied by Frontier was not enough to supply our needs including a Booster from Verizon for wireless Cell Service. This Boosted our WiFi signal but did not help on the Cell Service. Actually think it made it worse. Guess you can't have it all!!

i just bought this router and it was extremely easy to install, it also provides great coverage to all my rooms and basement. so far so good

I was amazed on how easy it was to setup. Very fast and the WiFi is so much better than what I had with cable provider.

Router does exactly what we need it to do and is superior to the previous model. Have been using it for a couple of weeks with no problems, very happy with it. Plus it was easy to set up - couldn't ask for more.

Will work great with no reduction of megabits per second utilizing Spectrum in wireless mode vs. hard wired. However, the Netgear Router wouldn't initially communicate with the Spectrum modem and required a 1/2 hour telephone conversation with Spectrum (no results obtained) and a 1 hour telephone conversation with Netgear to enable the 2 devices to communicate. This required plugging, unplugging, entering and deleting and a lot of patience. Happily, this now functions beautifully but will not function at all straight out of the box.

We got this to replace the router that was provided by Spectrum Cable. It was VERY easy to install & set up. Provides a strong wi-fi signal throughout our entire house - and even outside the house.

Range is TRASH. App is TRASH. Netgear is TRASH. My house is a 1750 sq ft single level ranch & no matter where I waste my time positioning the router, the signal just can’t swing it from one end to the other. When I first purchased the router in 2022, I was able to connect to it with the app. However, shortly thereafter it dropped & no matter what I try (netgear documentation, even wasted my life resetting the router to default & starting over… to no avail). SMH. Netgear routers come with 3 months of FREE support, then after those 3 months if you want help you have to pay for a subscription. SMH. Never again will I waste $ on Netgear anything, I’m certain.
