Needed a little "extra WiFi boost" for my backyard security camera system. It's just what I was looking for. Connected seamlessly to my NETGEAR WiFi Router. Can even change the password on this unit to match your router's password. Great extra feature. I'm not really tech savvy. Having said that, NETGEAR has great tech support.

This was easy to set up, and it boosted our internet inside our house dramatically! I would definitely recommend. Also, one of the salespeople helping us pointed out that with a "Mesh" extender, you only need one internet network, whereas some of the others you can end up with two separate networks in the same house and then you have to choose which one you are closest to. Not worth the savings.

This product did exactly what it needed to do. Boost my 5G so that my smart TV could stay connected and the smart phones. It was a customer in the store who directed me to this. The Mediacom tech wanted me to buy a NetGear BlackHawk modem/router. So glad I did not spend that extra money. This was super easy for a non tech person to set up and does a great job in my house

Bought this unit to replace an older extender I had been using. The signal on this unit is much stronger now and it covers a larger area. I’m very satisfied with this purchase. I paid about $90 on sale.

I had a cheaper one I was using before and was getting around 50 down and 5 up. Got sick of the speed so I bought this one hoping it would boost the speeds. Yes, it did A LOT! I now have 165 down and 17 up. I haven't tried plugging directly into it yet and testing it, but I am sure it would be a little higher numbers. Later..

This product works excellent as long as you get the right location. You can download an app (doesn't matter which one) on your phone that tells you the signal strength of your wifi and get the optimum range for the range extender. I was easy for me to set up but I am a computer tech. For anyone that is not technically inclined, I would highly recommend reading the instructions and watch a YouTube video on how to set up one.

The range isn’t what I expected BUT it still works great. Even though I can connect to it in a large house from far away, speeds drop from 100mbps to 30mbps. I need to get another but happy with it over all. Very easy setup Every house is different and difficult to predict how signal will travel through it. Start with one then get another if you need a little extra boost.

    Good extender with WPA

I initially tried to setup with an old router that only supported WEP protocol and did not support WPA2. The extender documentation states that it supports WEP and I could complete the setup, but the connection would drop. I replaced the router with one that supports WPA2 and it now works like a charm. I live in a house built in 1945 with metal lathe and plaster walls, great for wireless security, but not wireless networking. This extender now allows me to get minimum 50 Mb/s coverage throughout my house.
