Easy to setup on the app and sys with neatgear. Don’t need other password using the same password with the router.

Improved signal strength in areas of house that were problematic. Not as strong as I had hoped but much improved.

Here's my honest opinion. This product (and many others like it) will "help" somewhat in extending your Wi-Fi range. However, would I have found is you are WAY better off opting for the higher end base Wi-Fi box that most companies now offer. I didn't think it mattered at first, but I found that PLACEMENT of your base Wi-Fi box makes an enormous difference in how wide your wireless footprint will be in your home. Don't place it in a corner or near large windows or large mirrors. Don't put it near the floor, near TV sets or other electronic equipment. Place it at average height and as close to the center of your room as you can get it (not always easy). It may take some creative rearrangement, but the end result will be much better than getting ANY of these extender boxes. I've tried many of these extenders (including this one) and nothing came close to simply placing my base Wi-Fi box correctly, which for me is Xfinity's latest brand new "XB-8" Wi-Fi gateway box.

This worked well to extend and create mesh network with your existing router. I used it at my cousin's place to fix weak signal strength in one part of her house. It is nice since it's easy to setup and I like the convenience of having one network.

Super easy to setup if you have WPS. Do not need to have a separate name and can use your existing WIFI name. Extension is great and there is a port for a hard line if need be. If you have 5G coming into the house the extender usually connects to that first.

We changed WiFi service but could not get reliable service to the back of the house and none in the garage. This simple device; follow the installation instructions closely, works amazingly. I’m back to music streaming, solitaire, etc. in the work shop of my garage without exorbitant fees from the previous provider. Best Buy’s staff was very knowledgeable and apologetic for the limited stock options on the shelves. Price wise, the sales rep. was very clear about potential options and I could clearly see the vacant display signs and prices. This was shortly after lightening Covid restrictions in our state. I gathered that I purchased a midrange device which clearly resolved my ‘issues’. Thank you to the staff of our local Best Buy!

Very useful device for extending Wi-Fi network! Will just personally note that had a lot of issues setting up this device trying to use the phone app. I had to go and connect the device via Ethernet cable to one of my computers and use the NetGear website listed in the manual in order to finally set up the network. Recommend doing that if you find the phone app wouldn't work for you.

reception got better but still has issues (fewer). picture breaks up a lot less frequently but it still does some. it says to mount it about half way between the router and receiving unit which in my case just doesn't work for me. it is rather large too.

These works great I had trouble get a good signal all the way the one side of my house with this now I have a perfect strong signal

This product worked perfectly and has connected our outside television to our router in the front of the house. We have tried many other products which failed, but this one worked well.

I located this extended behind my tv with a Roku. I have a Netgear Nighthawk AC1750 Router located upstairs . I have a Cat 6 Ethernet cable connected directly to the extender. I’m typically getting 65 - 70 Mb/s to the Roku. Without the extender it was 20 - 25. Checking the speed on my iPhone 6 I am getting 50 - 60 Mb/s. Before that was also 20 - 25. I am paying for 300 Mb/s and am getting that at the router. You lose a lot over the WiFi I didn’t know it was that much. This extender is totally worth it. The mesh system is the way to go, it works seamlessly. I would not want to have to manually connect to 4 different SSID’s. I have the 2.4 and 5 GHz named networks. A normal extender creates new network names and you would have to manually change to the ext ssid’s in my case downstairs. This is the least expensive mesh extender Netgear sells. I don’t know how much better the more expensive routers work, but this is fantastic for my use, mainly streaming videos at HD without buffering issues.

This device has been a great purchase for my Gaming and other internet needs. It was easy to install and provides a much better range in my home, which is a medium-size home. I have a Netgear router so the transition and accessibility were quick and easy.

Performance is as advertised, hasn't faltered! Would buy again.

Had to get an extender for my house because my XBox is in my garage and my modem/router is in my master bedroom. Was a little difficult to set up and get going. Once it was though, I have not had any issues with it. So happy I got this one after I did all of my research.

Easy Peasy! Works great. Expanded WiFi into a barn we have thats about 20 ft from our house.

Very easy setup. Can be tricky at times and reduces bandwidth by about half but, gets the job done.
