Go with pci e instead

PC is in the next room and gets half the signal or less below 30mbs . I decided to get the card I wanted and it works great 70 to even 100 mbs. Dont go USB even if it's a budget. I'm returning this.

Need CD ROM drive or Internet access

It is bazar for them to give you a URL to get the application it takes to use this device to enable you to have Wi-Fi. I was lucky, I had another computer and a thumb drive.
