This really helped my daughter-in-law with her computer issue. Unfortunately, her computer I bought her, open box, from Best Buy for her birthday had an issue with the network card. Instead of having to send the computer off for a possible warranty fix, I was able to hook this up and she's back in business without the loss of the computer.

A must have for the traveler or going wireless at home

This was a lifesaver for me! I'm a school teacher who was preparing for final exams week when the WiFi connecter in my laptop computer became disabled. When I was told it might take up to three to four days to repair, if it could be repaired, I was in a panic. My laptop had all of my school-related work on it, and I'd only purchased it six months ago. While I was at Best Buy, Vince, the service technician at the Geek Squad service desk suggested this product, the NETGEAR - AC600 Dual-Band WiFi Mini Adapter, and even helped me install it on my laptop. It worked like a charm! It enabled my computer to connect to every WiFi system I used. It worked well everywhere without fail - 100 percent dependable. I was able to get everything done during finals week without stressing about whether or not my laptop would connect to WiFi servers. Thank you NETGEAR!

Easily installed. The software interface is a bit dated. The connection is good enough for gaming however it has to be reset occasionally on startup (Dont panic) once you reset the connection (through windows) it works fine. Maybe choose a different brand next time.

Was looking to make my Vista desktop PC wireless, and the NETGEAR AC600 WiFi Dual Band Adapter allowed me to connect it to the wireless router. Running a RJ-45 wire was not a simple solution without making holes in the walls. Had the PC connect to Internet in less than 10 minutes.

This was a great dongle. I have upgraded my laptop so I do not use it anymore but it was good for me when I did. It worked flawlessly and as advertised. Being a dongle it will work in most any laptop or desktop with an open USB port.

Excellent adapter fits well works well and does what it is supposed to do and GIVEn that there were TWO different boxes on the shelf , this one was the less expensive !!! BTW they are BOTH EXACTLY alike except for the BOX and the PRICE .... The SAME ADAPTER IS IN BOTH BOXES !!

It started off working well, then it completely stopped. I’m no tech wizard, but I actually figured out the problem and it works even better than expected. In a place not expected to be placed.

My PC computer uses an USB plugin adapter for wireless internet and the one I had wore out. I got the net-gear USB adapter because the store clerk said it would work well with the net-gear router. It also is smaller than the one I had and makes it easier to use the USB port beside it.. Pleased with the way it works.
