Not too bad for the money

Also, play around with different areas; I had to move it a few times in order to get the best signal strength.

It was easy to set up and install (just plug and play). It only took 5 minutes to get up and running. I connected devices across the house, and there were no issues.

Problem Solved

Internet comes into the house in the living room. Problem is the bedrooms are in 3 of the 4 corners of the house so it’s spread out. 1 room was spotty at best. 1 was 50% of the time. 1 was zero bars always. With our new NetGear Range Extender, full bars all over. I work from home and my kids are always online with homework and we stream our TVs. Best Buy at a totally affordable price that I’ve made in years. Don’t wait, get one. Wish I tried this before!

Great low cost Wi-Fi repeater

Worked great, grabbed signal and repeated very strong signal to us. Placement is key with this extender if you have a long distance to the router. Think about how many walls and how much distance.

Could be good for someone with normal internet

It was not worth to try to use. I live out in the country with crappy internet as is so I think the issue is my internet, not the product.

Netgear Extender Support AX1600
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a Netgear Extender AX1600 in May 2024. It malfunctioned October 2024. I called Netgear fir support, they refused to help me unless I purchase a service contract fo $49.99 (Extender Best Buy cost was under $80). I stated that the Extender has a 12 month warranty. They said it was hardware only and won't service or replace the product. Now I have a near new product that I can't use.
