Sorta works, sorta doesn’t

No matter how close it is to my Xfinity WAP, it drops connection for a minute. And it does this every ten minutes or so. It works good enough for my Powerwall. Sorta good enough for my security cameras. It’s not good enough for streaming entertainment or video conferencing.

If you’re wrong, it’s a headache. After that, it really helps get a stronger Wi-Fi signal.

A great buy for your money!

I mainly bought it for our Ring camera at the basement because of it being further away from the main router. It seems to work really well and I would recommend it.

Unreliable connection

I find that as an extender I get a good signal on the 2nd floor of my house. However, the connection will drop occasionally and the when it come back it's status is "No Internet". The router that it is connected to has internet with no problems. After I unplug / replug a couple of times the internet is back. This happens nearly everyday so this is not acceptable. When I first purchased it the instructions say to go to mywifiext.net, which doesn't work so I had to call support who told me I needed to use 192.168.1.250. That worked and I got connected. Poorly ever since.

Plugged it in, did the set up via the manual and worked right away. Have 0 issues with the signal now. Easy to set up. Just needed a laptop.
