Disappointed - Not Recommended

I own and use other Netgear products and they work well. But, this one just didn't do the job. If you need better internet service I would look at upgrading your router/modem as well as your ISP.

Slower speeds

Didn't help us

The signal actually dropped more with this extender than if we didn't use one at all. Maybe it works just fine but not for us. Returned it.

Wi-Fi extender

Will let my IT guy have a shot at it at my office and hopefully he can get it to work and if not then it will be returned. Originally just wanted it to extend the Wi-Fi at my home for my ring cameras but ended up with the ring chime pro which was easily up and running and flawless for extending the Wi-Fi for that purpose. Hopefully I can get it to work at my office to help improve with a dead zone.

Net gear wifi extender

Just open the box and there it is.. thanks to google/ you tube I found out how to connect it and work it. For being wireless it helps range a little. For better range go for the wired pod.

Called customer service & spoke to some guy in India who wanted to charge me $100.00 to clean my computer up. Very simple,put it back in the box & returned it. I’m not sure how a company would stay in business with practices like this. Don’t worry I will NEVER Netgear again.

Not the best wifi extender

I got it to connect to the wifi and set it up in the middle of our home, but all it did was drop the strength of the connection.

I returned it immediately and received a full refund. I did not try any other products said to accomplish the same goal.

Could not use - gateway required online syncing and website did not work. Easily synced at home but cannot tell that it is helping with signal boost.
