DSL modem works great provides fast speeds and easy to setup.

I picked up this modem to replace an older failing Siemens unit for AT&T high speed DSL internet and it works fine and was simple to setup, the only negative thing I noticed is one of the four indicator lights suddenly turned from green to red one day, the internet is still working fine so I don't quite know what is going on with that.

Modem was easy to set up and works great. My last modem needed reset constantly, this one has not needed reset yet.

After having some trouble with the clerk about what type of modem I needed, I am very satisfied with this modem. The clerks need to understand that some of us still have dsl hooked up through phone lines and need a modem designed for this. Before I left the store I made sure I had the right modem.

I got this modem but cause it was a fraction of the price the DSL service was charging for their equipment. I'm relatively smart when it comes to computers and networking so I didn't think setup would be an issue. It was basically plug and play; I didn't use th CD that came with it and chose the online setup instead. Simple as that and then it has been running 24/7 for a month solid with no hiccups. Just make sure you call your DSL provider and get the user name and password for THEM or you'll prohably end up on the phone with the wrong tech support for a long time. If you want a reliable, low cost alternative to leasing or overpaying for DSL equipment stop looking and buy this modem.

This is a good little modem. Easy to set up. It's a bugger getting the correct information from Frontier because they don't want you not using their stuff. After 4 phone calls, I got the right information and the unit set up was smooth. Works great.

Old modem started to hang. Picked up this new unit and it works great. Easy setup, has been reliable.

I needed to get a new modem for my DSL connection and have used Netgear products before. The price is reasonable, it was easy to set up (except for the legs!) and my Internet connection is much better (faster, pages don't freeze up). I definitely recommend this product.

spoke with different internet service providers and got good word of mouth on netgear's modem being compatible with more than one. I had previously purchased a combo and didn't realize it was only going to work for AT&T. The box should state that for people that may not know!

If you find yourself out in the field working and need a DSL Modem there are not many to pick from and lucky this one was in stock and was ok to work with. It's straight forward getting it setup, converting it into transparent bridge mode was very easy, and we were off to the races at a blazing speed of 1.5mbps just like the good ol days. It seems so barbaric thinking about DSL but if you or your customer have no choice then you will find this to be a solid decision. Then just hope fiber makes its way to your location so you can become a high speed junkie and kick this modem to the curb.

This Broadband modem from Netgear was very easy to set up. If you already had a modem from your internet provider that this will replace, then it will be a breeze. Works better (faster) than the old one from my provider. Have had for about a month and so far no problems.

Bought this to replace the isp's piece of junk which was terrible when it "worked" and finally completely crapped out. The drop was far and easy, and the performance had been flawless. No more rebooting all the time, and streaming is dreamy!

The NETGEAR - Broadband ADSL2+ Modem has a very intuitive user interface. It was easy to setup right of the box. It works well and easily interfaces with my wireless router. I would recommend this product.

I had an ancient DSL Modem that was going intermittent on me, and it was 14 years old. Since I already have a Netgear router, I found this Netgear ADSL2+ DSL modem to be convenient, familiar netgear-style setup, and priced very competitively. The only drawback was the Netgear router I have uses the same "routerlogin.net" configuration page as the new Netgear ADSL2+ Modem. The router behind the modem had been assigned a different IP Address and for a few minutes I had to figure out how to configure the router separately from the Modem. once I got that taken care of, it was off to the races. From the box to finished configuration was less than 15 minutes. "That's what I'm talkin' 'bout!"
