I needed to replace my old Netgear router, so I chose this one. My internet speed is significantly faster than before. I was able to keep my same network name and password for my home, which made the transition to a new router smooth. The setup process was easy. No complaints on this purchase!

Our Router of 11yrs. and another power outage decided it was done. We bought this Router and let me tell the setup was sooo easy that a non-tech person could do it. Also Netgear has it's own app where we can monitor our Internet speeds, download times and all of our devices. Great purchase and we have had it for about a month.

I felt the need to upgrade my old n router since I was upgrading my internet service. After reviewing several AX routers, I bought the NETGEAR AX1800 router based on a good price at Best Buy. The set up was fairly straightforward with the self install app. It took me about 40 minutes to get my computer back online and locking down the new router. It offers good range and throughput than my old n router. I noticed that connected devices connected faster than before. A minor drawback is that the AX1800 lays horizontally (like most new routers), thus it has a larger footprint. Would be nice if the router had the option of standing vertically.

Bought this to replace my last router that for some reason would not deliver over 6Mbit/S. This lets me use all my ISP provides!

This router has been perfect for our house. We got tired of having to re-set up all our devices when we changed internet providers, so we decided to purchase a router outright. We have a 1500 square-foot townhome that has 2 floors and the whole house is easily covered.

This Wi-Fi router is good for multiple devices, helps stop the signal drop when there are multiple devices using the Wi-Fi.

this router is very efficient and really easy to hook up and get started. Things have gone so modern nowadays you can use an app on your phone to do it for you. I highly recommend this router, I had to get a new one after the one I had failed to work and think I made a good choice.

The speed(limited to your internet package) is fast. Ive never seen half gigabit speeds on 2.4ghz channel. Imagine 5ghz (it's crazy fast). It is true that the setup is a little dicey. However, once you get this router running. It's fast and offers great security. WiFi 6 + Netgear. 10/10

This modem is extremely easy to set up and connect to a smart phone using Nighthawk App. Once in the Nighthawk app, setting up the wi-fi and changing the password is very simple to do. I am very impressed by the distance and signal strength as the wi-fi signal travels throughout my two story house. I have set my static devices, Google mini, TV, etc. to use the 2.4 GHz signal and my phones and laptops to use the 5 GHz signal. The 4 ports are fantastic. I use two of the ports to hard wired two devices which require a constant wi-fi signal. If necessary, you have the option to log on to the modem via the internet connection if you want to make changes beyond the Nighthawk app. There are two guest wi-fi signals which guests are able to use to connect to the internet but are separated from your home network. Wi-fi 6 is a must for new wi-fi 6 capable smart phones and devices.

Easy to install. Directions easy to understand. This router was an upgrade from my previous model....worth the Extra $$$ Pleased with performance.

Got this for my PLEX setup and OMG! Once you set this badboy up your PLEX streams and shares are always HD. No more of that 480 crap when on the road. Handles My RING SYSTEM and WIFI all at the same time! Gonna get me another one... Wish the price was about 20 bucks less though. Maybe a coupon? Wink Wink BestBuy! Got get it today.. you will be rocking and setup in 15 mins.

For an average sized home with a ton of devices and bandwidth need (4 people working/school from home plus phones plus 6 smart home devices), this is more than enough with enough range. I haven’t had any issues and it’s been an amazing upgrade from my AC1600 router.

So many devices connected to the WiFi caused the "older" router to hiccup a lot so it was time. As I was already in the Netgear zone it was an easy transfer. Since the installation have not had any issues. The app is also easy to use. There ya go...

Prior to purchasing this router I was getting anywhere from 150 - 200 down when I was paying for 400 x 20. I opted to return my router to the provider and purchase a NetGear router. Best decision ever. I'm finally getting what I paid for.

Although this is not a mesh system, it works well for our home, it’s WIFI 6, and it works well in our 2000 sq. Ft home. It works good for us without paying for the much more expensive mesh system. Thumbs up to Netgear!
