Good router. Only had it a short while but so far no connectivity issues. Set up is easy. It says to use the app to set up but I saw a lot of bad reviews on the app store. Go online using the website on the card that came in the box. No issues.

Netgear AX1800 Router Review
By Don Bostic

About a year ago, I upgraded my internet due to having so many wireless devices included game systems and TV Streaming devices. Sadly, I wasn’t getting the results I expected. I eventually realized that even though the router I had was top of the line when I got it, after 7 years, the thing was getting pretty old and I was way over due for a new one. The Netgear AX1800 was exactly what I needed. I no longer had disconnect and then reconnect to get a decent signal on my iPad or Roku. I just turn them on and they just work. No more crashes. No more lag. Everything works like they are supposed to. I am very happy with my investment, and my family is as well.

Great router for 800sq foot apartment. Excellent signal, speed and options for port blocking, port forwarding, etc. Had very good ping times on the ps4 and ps5, phones and laptop all had very fast stable connections. Just wish the mobile app was as featured as the web login.

This Router has many great features that I fiddle with from to time. I love the signal coverage it provides and the security software suit that can, through a subscription, shield my network from the constant assault of threat actors as they try to create havoc. With the app installed on a smart device, one can have effortless control and interaction with this Router to monitor traffic and adjust settings. A wired connection is always faster and more secure than its wireless counterpart, but wireless, at times, can be more convenient. I utilize both the wired and wireless functionality of this product. This Router even sends email logs of specific network traffic based on settings.

4.5 of 5. Initial setup was cumbersome due to the app kept crashing. A good wifi 6 option. Connection has been consistently fast without any disconnects. It's used in a ~1000 sq. ft. apartment with nine devices continuously connected (three macbooks, three smart tv's, and three iphones). Nine devices are the minimum that are connected at any given time. Sometimes, there are more phones are connected at other times.

One of the easier set ups you will have. This works just as good as my last router and extender put together. If your foot print of your house if under 2000 square feet this will do the job. Have two Xbox and one Switch all hooked up at same time and no issues. Phone application lets you control wifi with ease.

Easy to set up, has the advanced functionality I was looking for as well. Old router didn't allow guest network, this one does. But above all - the ease of setting it up and then the clear GUI to set up the advanced settings make this an awesome router

needed a new router in a pinch, found this AX1800 6G to be affordably priced. though in retrospect, probably should've spent a little more for additional range. it is spotty throughout the house unlike my previous router... may need to purchase an extender. But other than that, speed is very good.

Good router for medium sized home or business spaces.
The setup is made a little bit more complicated by all of the hoops that netgear is making you jump through with the last couple of generations of their router software - which is kinda disappointing. It makes you yearn for the days when you could just connect the thing, go to the routers ip address and be up and running in a few minutes.
The one huge benefit of this router is that it's technically not a nighthawk even though it looks and feels like one - and even though the documentation in the box has nighthawk written all over it.
What that means is that is you have a list of blacklisted routers for something like say a VOIP rollout that requires the ability to disable SIP on the router, this one will work even if your blacklist says netgear nighthawk routers will not. I've done it a couple of times and this router is a great solution for go to connect VOIP in particular.
