Netgear is ALWAYS your best bet when it comes to electronics. The router I purchased (Netgear Nighthawk WiFi 6) has proven to be the best router I’ve ever purchased. I will definitely recommend this device to friends, family, and anyone who will listen, because it’s better than good, it’s Netgear.

Needed an upgrade, works amazing, love love so much

I was getting 32 Mbps download and 5.8 Mbps upload while paying for 100 Mbps download. So I changed the modem and router to a new Netgear CM500 Cable Modem and Netgear AX1800 WiFi 6 Router. Now I get 120 down and 5.9 up. Makes a world of difference. The router setup app made it simple to get all our devices back online.

I purchased the NETGEAR AX4 4-Stream AX1800 WiFi 6 Router (RAX10) for my new apartment and it’s great. The install was straight forward. The app is user friendly and helps me monitor users and connections.

It works well. But there were no installation or set up instructions with it. Netgear assumes that you will own a cell phone so you can get the app you need to install the router. After some phone calls I was able to get an online site that helped me install the router, but really should be a way available to install from the box if you do not have a phone.

Just got this router. Setting it up was a challenge: The app I downloaded asked me to scan a QR code that did not exist. So I went with the manual setup choice. The app insisted that I be on the network. It should have specified that I need to connect to the "Netgear" wi-fi that appeared. I figured that I should connect to it, but it asked for a password. The minimal amount of documentation (simply a large card) did not have it. The documentation and the app suggest that the user look online to documentation and videos. However, I have no internet connection while I am setting it up! Finally, I asked a friend to bring his smartphone, He had exhausted his data allowance, so we were only able to go online for a few seconds to find a helpline buried deep - probably deliberately - in the Netgear sight. Called the helpline and a tech confined that I need to connect to the Netgear wi-fi that appears. And the password is under the router! So a setup that could have been only ten minutes cost me three hours! Netgear, get your act together: 1- Put a QR on the modem if you are calling one. 2- Add where the password is.

Works great! We have many additions on our home and this provides great service throughout the home.
