    I had originally bought the Google wifi router ac1200, but to it back immediately. Comcast ran all new lines to my house, I had 378 mbps up and 25 down hardwired from my modem but only 100 down and 8 up from the Google router. I bought this netgear router and ran a couple of speed tests via WiFi and had speeds that matches the hardwired speeds from the modem.

    Signal strength is great. Configuration is easy enough, but in the negative side, NETGEAR wants you to buy "premium" services and SPAM you with advertisement. The router APP is OK, but it can improve more.

    This router works good for the small 2 bedroom duplex that I am in. I have suddenlink 1 gig internet paired with an Arris surfboard SB6190 modem and get good connection and speed throughout the house.
