I live in an old storefront with thick walls, and this router reaches every room in my apartment without a single drop in quality. Everywhere else I’ve lived, I’ve needed at least two routers—not anymore. This router is at max no matter where I am, and I love it.

    Replacing my AC1600

I replaced my AC1600 router after about 3 years of service when the internet connectivity failed completely. The new router took a couple of tries thru the software to get set up, but after the initial setup was complete, it has functioned very well. I get >200Mps throughout the 2400 ft^2 house using a Netgear CM600 modem. No drop outs. All devices are connecting fine. I am getting used to the Nighthawk router application on my phone, rather than at 192.168.1.1

After almost a year of use I can 100% say this is the best router I have ever owned! My SIL is on the exact same service as us but with a different router and ours is WAY better. Lets you plug multiple ethernet cables into it as well

Reliable wifi is more important than ever with security cameras, home entertainment, etc. We have 23 devices to date and my older wifi mesh system required constant reboots and speeds weren't up to par in nodes. Wifi 6 allows much faster throughput with wifi 6 devices. I'm connecting in man cave and master bath at 470mbps with my iphone 13. Easy set up, great range, and reliability are strengths of this router. You can spend much more and get much less if you aren't careful. 4 Ethernet ports come in handy also. There is no substitute for some knowledge on how wifi needs to be set up depending on specific devices. It's always better to hardwire with Ethernet if possible but sometimes not possible depending on structure. It would be very difficult to get a better performing router at this price point, especially if you have compatible wifi 6 devices. I have a 400 mbps spectrum internet plan as an fyi. With my amplifi 3 station system I replaced I had slow speeds in areas I used mesh points and had to continuously reboot. I'm getting faster speeds and better reliability with this wifi 6 router. I had invested 300 in old system and got 3 years out of that system. This router is the best on market in my opinion (at this price) by today's standards. It also allows excellent expansion if needed. I would start with 1 and see if your content with performance. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Range is also excellent with external antennas. Our home is 2200 square foot ranch and this does a great job inside and outside with my wifi 6 phone. Highly recommended

I was pleasantly suprised with the speed and conectivity when using this router. We have about 9 TVs with rokus plugged in so 18 devices alone with TVs that dosent include 2 gaming systems and 8+ smartphone and laptop devices. This router handles these like a champ. Extensivley covers our home even in the garage! Im very satasfied with my purchase.

This router has been great for me. I have an older HP machine for work that needed a driver update to see the network otherwise smooth sailing since I bought it. I use with multiple devices including Apple Watch, iPad Pro, iPhone 12 Pro, Canon Pixma MX490 series, M1 MacBook Pro , Samsung 4k TV. Replaces an Asus router I bought in early 2017 that is no longer being updated and would disconnect at least 3x a day. Setup was super easy via an app called Nighthawk I just downloaded to my phone. Pretty good value for the price for my small apartment setup. Would recommend for someone wanting to get a more future-focused WiFi 6 router. There is so much congestion in my area (literally 29 other networks) that the built in 2.4Ghz router / antenna on my cable modem wouldn't allow me to fully capture the speed of Spectrum's internet service. Definitely recommend for anyone in a similar situation.

Easy installation By Barb C 12345 This Netgear router replaced an older router that was zapped during a storm. Instructions from Netgear made for an easy installation. Our other devices were recognized right away. Yay for something making life easier.

So fast, easy to set up, and I love this router! I have great wifi all over the house, and so much better than my old router. I'm so glad I bought Netgear again. Price was very good too. A lot of value for the money. I always buy Netgear, it's a reliable, quality product.

A solid entry‑level Wi‑Fi 6 router designed for faster speeds and reliable coverage. With dual‑band AX1800 performance, it supports up to 1.8Gbps combined speeds, making it suitable for streaming, gaming, and multiple connected devices. - Performance: Wi‑Fi 6 technology improves efficiency and reduces congestion, especially in homes with many smart devices. - Coverage: Ideal for small to medium households, offering stable connections across multiple rooms. - Design: Sleek black finish with a compact footprint that blends easily into modern setups. - Ease of Use: Simple setup via the Nighthawk app, plus parental controls and guest Wi‑Fi options. - Value: Affordable compared to higher‑end Wi‑Fi 6 routers, though advanced features like multi‑gig ports or mesh support are limited.

Easy set-up using the app. Was up and running in less than an hour. Our teenage daughter definitely noticed an improvement in download speed. Pleasantly suprised to have a WiFi Guest connection. Don't recall seeing that feature. I probably just missed it. Works great. Does what its supposed to do.

Our internet service speed exceeded our previous router. This new NETGEAR device was easy to install and configure. It opened that bottleneck and we are enjoying much better internet speed and reliability. I wish I would have done this sooner.

Setup is intuitive and service is reliable. Setup might be more difficult for people who are less tech-savvy, as the product does ask you to do setup through the mobile app. This is a great router for a small to medium size home. Very happy with this router.

If you’re looking at this router for wireless PCVR with your Oculus Quest 2, I’d say this is a good enough choice. I’m not sure about that from a value perspective since my test subjects only include this router, my gaming PC’s wireless network card, and the basic modem access point nonsense provided by CenturyLink, but I can tell you that my experience has improved from pretty much unusable to 95% perfect. I configured it in “Access Point Mode” so I wouldn’t separate my home network entirely and lose access to my NAS on connected devices and connected my Quest 2 to the 5ghz band with every other wireless device connected to the 2.4ghz band to avoid interference with my Quest and I can run Virtual Desktop with the SideQuest patch with only very infrequent disconnects but otherwise no lag while connected. The only real problem that I had was the 2.4ghz band interfering with my ModMic 4 causing a tapping/buzz sound. Everything other than wireless PCVR was standard, nothing to rave about but no complaints either. Setup was easy enough for a casual user thanks to the Nighthawk app. I will update this review if reliability problems arise or if the Quest situation somehow worsens, if you don’t see an update, assume it’s still fine.

I have used three of these routers in the past year for accessing Wi-Fi inside various locations throughout my property. It is simple and easy to set up. They get great range, and so far, no IP conflicts or other related issues. I also like that I can say add a node, and it will add another one to it. They are fast and can be customizable, almost as much as microtech routers.
