Great router, really great range of signal strength. Robust and strong encrytion. Just make sure to have a very long and complex security password, the router works extremely well the more complicated the password.

I have used three of these routers in the past year for accessing Wi-Fi inside various locations throughout my property. It is simple and easy to set up. They get great range, and so far, no IP conflicts or other related issues. I also like that I can say add a node, and it will add another one to it. They are fast and can be customizable, almost as much as microtech routers.

If you’re looking at this router for wireless PCVR with your Oculus Quest 2, I’d say this is a good enough choice. I’m not sure about that from a value perspective since my test subjects only include this router, my gaming PC’s wireless network card, and the basic modem access point nonsense provided by CenturyLink, but I can tell you that my experience has improved from pretty much unusable to 95% perfect. I configured it in “Access Point Mode” so I wouldn’t separate my home network entirely and lose access to my NAS on connected devices and connected my Quest 2 to the 5ghz band with every other wireless device connected to the 2.4ghz band to avoid interference with my Quest and I can run Virtual Desktop with the SideQuest patch with only very infrequent disconnects but otherwise no lag while connected. The only real problem that I had was the 2.4ghz band interfering with my ModMic 4 causing a tapping/buzz sound. Everything other than wireless PCVR was standard, nothing to rave about but no complaints either. Setup was easy enough for a casual user thanks to the Nighthawk app.
I will update this review if reliability problems arise or if the Quest situation somehow worsens, if you don’t see an update, assume it’s still fine.

I was using a 10-15 year old router that came with a hard drive that failed long ago and was having connection problems. Switching to this solved most of the problems. It's fast and the lights are informative. It's a good product. Setup wasn't as easy as promised. The app you're supposed to use was a fake one in the Apple store and support complicated things. I figured it out myself and have been very happy. It is a reliable product.

Has been a fantastic upgrade. 9x internet speed because our router was ancient. And for the price it's better than I thought it would be. A LOT BETTER. It also came with a 1 year plan that helps me detect threats in my home network. Might subscribe again, It's been nice.

The router has an easy hub to keep up with usage, users, pinging, and security. It sets up fast and easy. You need a fast router for any fast service provider to maximize the full band with of your service. This is the router you need.

It can connect to many devices and it still has a great speed. You even have access when you are away from home and you can control which device to connect. If you have a guest, it has guest network they can use. Very fast and easy to install and use

Simply put: the performance, price, and ease of use/setup just can't be beat. The specs don't lie, the speeds I've been getting in the first 10 days of use are exceptional.

I bought this because my old Apple Airport Extreme router went bad. This new Netgear has performed flawlessly so far. My only issue is that their instructions was a little confusing as it asked you to scan a QR code which I never found, There was another QR on a card that linked you to something else. The password and username to access the device was also printed very small underneath the router. Once you figure it out everything works great!

Old model for over ten years was the WNR2000 v3 and after finally getting a upgrade i am appreciative to see my paid speeds from Spectrum finally providing speeds similar to my online buddies from 10-11 mbs to 50-60 mbps. Thankful!

Replaced my old Netgear router when I noticed close captions weren't keeping up with dialog on shows we were streaming. I should have done this much sooner. Wow! Everything just went into high gear and the installation was a breeze. I'm a loyal Netgear guy. Kudos to you guys.

This router is amazing. I have two NETGEAR routers. They are both amazing. Reliable, fast, user friendly and easy to manage. NETGEAR is my go to brand for router and modems. It’s the only brand I will suggest to anyone.

I had initially purchased a new Wi-Fi 6 router from another company (not to name names, but the letters TP come to mind) and spent a week of headaches, connectivity issues, and inconsistent speeds across multiple devices. Finally, after resisting the urge to smash the thing, I returned it and opted for Netgear instead. Brought the Nighthawk home, hooked it up, and it just works. No issues with any of my devices, no speed drop-offs, range is good, and the app is easy to use. This is the one to buy.

Very easy to set up and use with the Nighthawk app. I missed where the QR quick set up was, but the manual set up was quicker than it took to set up my modem.
I live in a smaller apartment, so the range is great for me! I'll have to see if I can get any reception outside as the range is listed at 2500sqft I believe.
I've only had it for a few days now, so we'll see how it lasts over time.
