Replaced my old Netgear router when I noticed close captions weren't keeping up with dialog on shows we were streaming. I should have done this much sooner. Wow! Everything just went into high gear and the installation was a breeze. I'm a loyal Netgear guy. Kudos to you guys.

I purchased this in 2023. It's not 2025 and it still amazing. I have issues with my internet providers router that they gave me. I replaced that with this NetGear Router and it works even better than the providers. I get signal strength throughout the entire upstairs and downstairs with this one.

Very easy to set up and use with the Nighthawk app. I missed where the QR quick set up was, but the manual set up was quicker than it took to set up my modem. I live in a smaller apartment, so the range is great for me! I'll have to see if I can get any reception outside as the range is listed at 2500sqft I believe. I've only had it for a few days now, so we'll see how it lasts over time.

I don't have wifi 6 capabilities, but the purchasing of this product will enable you to use it if you have the plan with your provider. The range is good. Not super impressive, but definitely can cover a house and maybe even a backyard without significant lag. The app is helpful, but not very useful. If you do think about cycling the router, please, please turn of the modem first and then turn off your router. Then wait till your modem is on and working, to finally turn on the router. The order of operations is almost essential to ensure that the wifi works. There is no on/off switch on the router, so I recommend unplugging it from its ac power.

I've had this for nearly 3 months now. I purchased this with the NETGEAR - Nighthawk 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem because I didn't want to rent from Comcast. It is compatible with the "Internet Extreme | Download speeds up to 400 Mbps; Upload speeds up to 20 Mbps" plan. I also appreciate the option to use their internet protection. This will require use of yet another app and log in at first, separate from Comcast (or whoever you use), but it's fine. Set up was easy for me to do on my own and it's been working very smoothly supporting multiple devices from phone to laptop to consoles. The design looks a little funny, but I don't mind it.

Did just what I needed it to do. The best part it was easy to setup and get going, signal strength good. Great price also! So far no complaints.

I liked that it was an easy setup, especially since I’m not technologically savvy, and it was in a good price range. I also liked that you could set it up through your phone and have control over it, super convenient. I wasn’t a fan of the 3 antenas sticking up, but to me it wasn’t a deal breaker. It’s still was small enough to fit under my media console.

I purchased this router as an upgrade to work with Spectrums' updated modem to avoid paying their monthly service charge to use their equipment. I have minimal knowledge of the way these things work but found this device very easy to install. The signal strength and range are great. So far it's been in service for about a month and its working great.

I’ve been using it for five months, and I’m pleased with it. Very solid signal for my small apartment, no dead zones and very easy to setup. I use multiple devices for work, stream and gaming, and all of them perform very well.

Used one of these to bring Wi-Fi to an elderly in-laws house that was only equipped with an old phone line. Due to that connection the speeds could only be about 32-33 Mbps, but I was thoroughly impressed with how strong and consistent the signal put out was. The modem was kept in a room in the back of the house, but a security system had no problems getting full signal strength on both ends of the house, and the setup for the unit itself was really well designed.

Just had Spectrum Internet installed but internet speeds were only 0.8mbps, i didn't even know it could go that slow. Spectrum told me it might be the router or modem could be damaged since they are just refurbished items, but they wouldn't be able to come change it until 4 days later or I could just but my own router. Went to Best Buy and saw the NETGEAR AX4 4-Stream AX1800 WiFi 6 Router on sale, bought it and set it up easily. Now wifi speeds are up to 400mbps! Definitely worth it

I had the NETGEAR modem and router prior to this new router model. I was talked into switching my old setup with the Xfinity modem/router combo. Worst experience ever, I like to play video games on my PS5. Never have I had so many issues connecting to the PlayStation store. Xfinity was never able to solve my issue. After months of research, I just got this new router and everything is working amazing. Never should have switched my old NETGEAR setup. Now that I’m back I’m getting the modem too
