A total scam at this point
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup was easy, but whatever site I tried to visit, I got the same security warning: routerlogin.net doesn't support a secure connection After futzing around with it for about half an hour, I called Netgear customer service. After a few checks and questions, he asked about the router lights 1 and 5 solid 2 and 3 blinking 4 dark. At this point he promised a solution: Netgear routers no longer have built in security, you have to buy a subscription. Plans start at $180 and top off near $400. No further mention was made of the router's lights Well, I read the product description before purchase, and I checked the phone number before calling. If this is the way Netgear does business, I'll never buy another one of their products. 7 March 2025
