Great easy to install, only wish the range of Wi-Fi signals covered a larger area.

The app is great to track who/whats connected. Also- I went from 21mbps download speeds with my 6 year old router to 475mbps with this new router.

Purchased the Netgear AX1800 in Feb 2023. Worked fine for a little over 2 years then began having daily issues where speed was SLOW to non existant on a daily basis. I could almost predict when it would happen daily within +/- 1 hr every 24 hrs. Initially thought it was my ISP but they sent a tech TWICE and it was not an issue on their end. It took me 2 months to trouble shoot the issue and finally discovered it was this router. It apparently needed a restart every 24 hrs. I thought I bought a 4 yr extended warranty but it turns out it was only applied to my Modem and not my router so It's now a paper weight.

Works as expected. The only thing I'd change is the footprint of it. I like the stand up models better.

Strong signals throughout a 1200 sq ft home. Even further out. My car parked about 30 ft away from the the home still gets dull signals.

Excellently sufficient, I game (wired and wireless) and stream (youtube) in the background simultaneously all the time with my limited 100 mbps fiber in my apartment and theres no issues whatsoever with this thing, great wifi and ethernet quality for a decent price.
Only issue is it has to be on one end of my apartment and phone wifi specifically has range issues frome time to time 2 rooms across the the far side of the apartment, my console in the same room has no issues at similar range.

Purchasing this router was the biggest nightmare I’ve ever experienced in home Wi-Fi. I cannot recommend this. The app is an adequate. The reliability is beyond reproach after updating the firmware in the product. I had to reset it and reconfigure everything. I’ve already bought a new router from Amazon and this one’s going to go into the fire pit, I doubt that I will ever purchase a Netgear product ever again in this natural life. The product already annoys you to purchase a subscription for security, and that just gets into the way. I don’t have too many devices at my house and there’s only two of us living here but it constantly drops connections loses the Internet maybe once an hour and has to be rebooted a couple times a day just to keep it going with my spectrum cable. RF wise it’s fine, but don’t expect this to be reliable product. It just wasn’t ready when it was shipped, so do not buy. I can recommend a Linksys router. Those are all well tested well, vetted and software ready for the wild.
