Took the advice of the salesperson and purchased this. Worst router ever.... I was told it was easy to set up and it was not, it took me over an hour. I am always kicked out of the network and have to log back in. My internet has gotten slower with this product, have difficulty with pages loading, I would not recommend this product.

Good signal range, skinny enough to hide behind furniture with Velcro. Used this to replace a older router that wouldn’t bypass interfering channels amd it works great.

Hi... I have not been able to get this router to work yet. I may need to return it. The start up app for my cell is not helping me. I have internet using an ether net cable, but no wireless thru this unit. I haven't had time off to work on this....

We bought it ahead of our move and when we went to set it up it was broken. Tried to take it back but because it was past the 15 day grace period they would exchange it. Call Netgear and all I got from them was a run around. I would never buy another netgear product.

As title says, downloaded Nighthawk App, started setting up the router… was advised via app to download and install the firmware update so naturally I did. The router failed to install the firmware update and became useless so I returned it the next day. Went with a Deco Mesh Wifi 6E system instead and couldn’t be happier.

The signal strength is marginal in the master bedroom and occasionally shuts out all together.

Terrible! My printer constantly lost wifi connection, about every 45 minutes. Gaming was next to impossible. Someone thought it was the anti-virus software they want you to purchase that was causing the problem. Not sure why it did not work in my environment but I already replaced this with Google WiFi and it works great. I would not recommend this product at all and Best Buy should have a 30 day return policy. I now get to eat the cost of this useless router.

It works fine, but be aware, if you want to use NETGEAR'S Armor Security (and from what I've read about most routers on the market you don't want to be without updated software security) they force you to accept its automatic renewal, $99.99 annually at the time of writing, with no option for manual renewal offered—thus the low rating.
