Poor startup instructions. Only shows NETGEAR 04 connected. Auto switching is not apparent between 2G and 5G. Auto switching does not appear to work on all data inputs. Signal strength is questionable.

Well the instructions say to take a scan of the QR code. But not what to do if there is no QR code. On the phone with tech support to find out what 3 lines of text could have told me.

Replaced router we had for several years. Have to have a router for our Intermax service. Did know we had a have app on our phone to install. Couldn't get t setup so returned it.

Connection constantly broke up after a connection of 7 devices. Requires their proprietary app to use and requires a netgear armor subscription to access basic features. Honestly grab a ax3000 asus or a rt-ax86u for even better performance with gaming.

Frequently randomly shuts down and restarts when under heavy load, kicking me off of my streaming, games, and downloads. Not what I want out of a $100+ wifi router.

I ended up having to return it as this wifi router was quite unstable. It kept loosing connections to our printers. After many re-starts and such, I just gave up.

I think there was something wrong with mine. I was unbelievably slow after installed. I returned it. It was also the worse set-up I've ever done.

The Netgear AX1800 was easy to install and setup due to the seamless iPhone app. This replaced an older Netgear 2.4 GHz router and the difference was amazing. This now give me 2.4G as well as 5G with complete coverage of an 1750 sq. ft. house. More reliable coverage for the TV and cell phones. There are no drop outs of signal and I am running both laptops and TV as well as security cameras. Excellent!!!!

was told at the store that it was a 98% chance that this replacement would fix my broken Wi-Fi. After two attempts to install, and one long phone conversation with tec support - I was told to box it up and return it and buy another one. I returned it but did not by another on. Still no wifi. I have went back to direct line to Desk top.
