Very time-consuming to set up. You have to download and use their app, and they extract a lot of information from you just to use the router. It also has a very weak signal I only get 2 Mbps using this. I am returning it today. I do not recommend this product to anyone. NETGEAR used to be so reliable.

    Great Router & Easy Install

The Netgear ax1800 router is very simple to use and was able to boost my internet signal across two floors and four bedrooms in my house. I could not recommend this product more if you are wanting fast speeds across a large home! Not only is the router feature-rich but I feel like I will not need to upgrade to a new router for quite some time because of the strong capability of this router. 5/5 stars, would recommend to friends and family.

    A worthy upgrade

Did a ton of research to find a replacement for our trusty but out-of-date Apple Airport, which was chosen at the time based upon the fact that it's what Best Buy itself was using in-store. I was dismayed by the numerous bad reviews shared by virtually every router brand. I eventually just took a chance and went with the Netgear AX4, based upon its number of good reviews at Best Buy, and hoped I would be one of the lucky ones. It installed easily according to instructions and has been performing flawlessly. Range, strength, and penetration are noticeable improvements over the Airport. The only snag was that I removed the old hardware but could not get the AX4 to install. I then remembered that I hadn't deleted the old Apple software (Duh!). After doing so the AX4 quickly began a quick and trouble-free install. No special networking knowledge required. Highly recommended!

I spent all day trying to get this router installed. Netgear technical support finally told me it was a defective router so I returned it and purchased another router. I have always used Netgear routers and this is the first one I have had an issue with.

Not a good experience. Not easy to install and dropped the internet connection frequently. Service tech took phone and email incase we got disconnected while on hold, waited 1/2 hr and hung up. Never heard from them. I returned this one and bought a competitor brand which was quicker to install and works great.

External drives do not show up when connected to this router so I was not able to use it. We also had issues with other devices connecting easily. We ended up returning and getting a linksys AC2200 for same price range.

Worth Every Penny! Love This Router

After I moved across the country, I realized my older ISP didn't cover the West Coast! I had to get a router quickly so that I could continue working remotely. I went to Target and decided to buy the NETGEAR AX4 4-Stream AX1800 WiFi 6 Router (RAX10). I'm really glad that I did! The router is fast, reliable, and easy to set up. The phone app made connecting easy. The entire set up process took minutes. The wifi range is great, and I never lose my signal. Also, it's compact, which means I can store it easily without worrying about weakening the signal. A great long-term investment. I would definitely recommend buying this!

Stopped working after having massive latency spikes speed going from 400Mbps to less than 4. This Nighthawk barely made a month. The AC1900 Nighthawk it replaced lasted almost a decade.
