hard to find anything exciting about this router. I will say that if your computer doesn't support 5g you will be stuck with the slower speed this unit supplies. The alternative is to get an adapter from netgear for 60 bucks then you can use the 5g and get great speeds. but then you are into it for another 60.

Have an older split level home and I keep connection through out it plus a little more.

A bit expensive at first but so far no issues. It replaces a rather new router that is slower and tends to disconnect at will. This one has a very strong signal and has not disconnected so far. It was easy to install and get everything in the house connected to it.

This router has easily surpassed my previous wireless router. It is exteremly fast so i finally speed i have been paying for from my comcast internet. very easy to set up and and have had absolutly 0 issues since installed.

This router was very easy to set up and greatly improved my network data transfer times.

I replaced a 3 year old Netgear WiFi router with this one. Our home office is on the 2nd floor of the house and the router sits on the desk on the outside wall. My wife likes to work on her MacBook Pro down in the dining room -- kitty-corner from the office and on the first floor. She literally couldn't get any farther away from the router! The "old" Netgear would give her 3 bars out of 5 on the "slow" setting, and 1 out of 5 on the "fast" setting. (It was a dual band.) Occasionally, she'd get fed up and move to the kitchen table, which is "only" halfway across the house on the first floor. With this new router, she happily sits in the Dining room, doing emails, Facebook, and streaming meetings. (Sometimes all at the same time!) Meanwhile, I'm up in the office working on the iMac and streaming Netflix to the Samsung 55" LED HDTV. We also have our iPhones and iPads connected to this beast! Not one issue with signal strength or quality! Love it!

So easy to set up. You can download an app for your phone. The coverage in my house is great. I upgraded from a Linksys N router. The coverage is so much more. I never have to reset this router. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I have one at my business and one at home.

great router for the price and performance if you don't want to pay for the Nighthawk.

This Router is as fast as it claims have not had a drop since it was set up weeks ago

I needed a good router for the Internet demand in my home. Kids, wife and my online gaming was to much for my old router. This router handles everything great, was easy to install and more importantly I can control what sites and material that my kids may visit on the net.

I love the how fast this is and it was super easy to set up. I'm not a geek or techno nerd so I was a little nervous when I got it home. I followed the instructions and boom it worked! This thing is super fast, I'm able to watch live tv and Netflix without any delays.

Had to replace my 11 year old router due to being outdated and slow, best buy advised me with this one and love it, all of my devices are running fast through this router, my xbox one which was the main reason to get a new one has a very strong single at all times.

I have owned this Router for about 1 month. Previously I had a Netgear WNDR3700. The range for this R6300 router is an improvement, especially on the 5.0 band. While I have no devices that support the ac standard, we have some friends that do and it is blazingly faster. Because the throughput & range is better on 2.4 and 5.0, I'm seeing much better performance with TV, Iphones, laptops, and ipads in the house. I have a 3100 sq. ft, 1 story house and still require an extender at far end of house. Problem is no "AC" extender available by Netgear as of this review. When setting up through a cable modem, make sure you turn turn off (or reboot) the cable modem when you connect your R6300. This cost me time getting the internet connection working so I pass this tidbit along to you... Oh yes, I love the new design of the router. It looks great and the lights on it are more informative than its predecessor.

Rhe spped and conectivity was horrible until I got this new router.

This device was super easy to install and set up. Our service in the house has improved 100%. We can surf web, stream videos in 2 rooms at same tiem without any issues. If you looking for a good middle of the road reasonable priced wireless router look no further!

This was to replace an older router that had stopped working. I went in to look at replacements, with the idea of upgrading to something that would allow us to stream video and ditch cable/satellite. The salesman steered me in the right direction, asking a few application questions, and recommended this router. The install was a breeze, and we were up and running in no time.

Connection does not drop anymore and is seamless. Very easy to install and use.
