I'm a Comcast-Xfinity subscriber who is paying through the nose for premium content and for what I thought would be premium performance - including the W-Fi performance for ALL my Wi-Fi enabled devices. The combined modem/router that Comcast provided me turned out to be a BIG TIME Wi-Fi BOTTLENECK. In fact, MOST of my Wi-Fi devices could either: Not connect to my wireless network at all, or had pathetic Wi-Fi performance...think "spinning progress wheels" and interrupted YouTube viewing over Wi-Fi. One visit to the Geek Squad and they recommended buying this Netgear dedicated router to end my Wi-Fi performance nightmare once and for all. I did, and after minimal setup, my Wi-Fi performance went from terrible (without the Netgear router) to awesome, uninterrupted, near Ethernet cable-wired-directly-to-a-modem performance (with the Netgear router and verified by speedtest.net) The only "hiccup" I encountered was integrating my Apple TimeCapsule (external hard disk/router) back into my wireless network after configuring the Netgear router. It turned out, all I needed to do was reset the Apple TimeCapsule (without losing any backup data), connect the TC to the Netgear router via an Ethernet cable, power on the TC and BAM! the TC was discovered on the Netgear wireless network (using the Apple AirPort utility) and I was back in business using the TC for backups and as a print server. Note: After the first wired TC-to-Netgear handshake/security is established, you can lose the ethernet cable connection from the TC to the Netgear router and go wirelessly between the two. I highly recommend this Netgear router - even for users with pretty demanding Wi-Fi performance requirements...like gaming and streaming. My only regret is that I waited too long to buy this. This isn't the cheapest dedicated router on the shelf, but I can say my Wi-Fi performance is finally what I expect it to be - and it gets a lot of use every single day!

Big wireless speed upgrade from my N router. Much faster, reliable signal.

Easy to set up. We've been using for over a month and have had no issues.

Everything about this router is awesome except for the range (which is still pretty good). I live in a fairly large house and I'm using the router on the bottom floor near the corner. The signal is strong everywhere except our master bedroom which is on the top floor at the opposite corner. In that room the signal is a bit weak, but still usable.

I needed a wider range router for two floors. My previous router had dead spots in the house on both floors and this router does not. I am very happy with it. It's fast and wide and like that you can see how many devices are connected to your router.

Easy setup, consistent connection. I have always had issue with past routers being able to connect multiple devices especially iPhones, iPads and MacBook. I have had this for about a month and have had no problems. Best performance from a router ever.

I moved into a new home and got comcast for tv & internet. Their wi-fi would not work continuosly. I had to keep restarting it, refreshing it, rebooting etc. After numerous annoying calls and maybe 40 hours on the phone with comcast, having each tech telling me something different, I was about to tell them to come pick their equipment, i was done. I tried one last thing. I went into Best Buy and spoke with a salesperson, told him my problem and he suggested to try this router. It was easy to set up, and solved my problems.

This router has amazing range. no other router has been able to transmit through my walls.. this includes exterior walls as well as three floors of rooms. This is the only router that works reliably with my sons Xbox Now there is no lag he is happy!

My wife and unjust moved into our house. We had a Belkin dual band wireless n router. It was okay. Never lost the signal, but the 5 ghz band was slow up stairs and not very strong. I was going to upgrade to belling ac. I feel Belkin for the value is the best router out there, but sales person convinced me to try this one. I did and I love it!!! Both bands are fast and have a strong signal throughout the house! You don't have to worry about your router being outdated with the newest ac router! Computers don't even have it yet! You will pay a huge sum for a router! I got it on sale by best buy matching amazon's price!

My house had multiple dead spots with regards to WiFi coverage, however after a trip to Best Buy, I was able to purchase the perfect solution. This router was priced right, easy to set up and easy to modify with the Netgear Genie app.

The product was extremely easy to set up and I had no issues with performance. I get good signal throughout my apartment, even through the thick concrete walls. I'm extremely pleased.
