more to installation than my last router. family gamer loves it.

I recently upgraded and my son had recommended this router. Works great!

Technology changes so quickly I like to buy top of the line equipment, as is this router. I looks good, no bulky antena, easy installation, excellent reception throughout the house, and it is fast.

Love the router, used for streaming video and heavy gaming and I never have any connection problems even when i'm across the house. Best signal strength of any wireless router I have ever owned.

Lots of room for many connections. A little time consuming to set up.

I had another router that was supposed to be top of the line. I couldn't keep a constant signal from the router upstairs to my iPad and stereo equipment downstairs. I purchased the Netgear R6300 and now I have a solid strong signal all over the house.

I had to replace my Asus router with this one because I gave away my Asus. This router is dual band but doesn't have great coverage. You'll need an extender to reach rooms far from the router. The interface is dumbed down and doesn't allow for more advanced settings like the Asus did.

It does what I need it to do. I'm not very "techie" so ...

Excellent product replaced an older Netgear as I needed a faster option. This even offers 5G wireless connection -impressive

I got this unit to replace an older unit... Should have done it way earlier. The performance is night and day. My Sony Tablet S works now! I would recommend this unit to any one.

I'm glad I spent a little more and got a great router. My son said there's such a huge difference when he's on Live on Xbox...he doesn't loose connection. Also, we're able to connect to the internet on the laptops so much quicker. Great purchase!!

I have had to re-boot the router, modem and computer several times since using it. It could be a problem not associated with the router. I have had much better connection to the internet with this router. Seems to be faster.

My house is 3240 SQ, I managed to install this router on the second floor almost in the middle of the house and I got full coverage on every corner but weak on the outside so I will install a repeater for my patio

Does what I need it too. I would recommend it to a friend.

We switched from your your ordinary Linksys router to this one and there is a huge difference. We currently have 11 devices running of of this unit and it never misses a beat. Great Product

This was a replacement for a previous Netgear product.

Nothing to compare it to but works good. No complaints.

We bought this a month agao becuase I last router broke. We do work form home and use VPN. This has always been a challenge with our last router. Not with this one. It is smoking fast no delays with doing a Lync meeting over VPN. Lowve it

Geek Squad set up the network and it has worked great ever since. I have not had to reboot it. It gives fantastic signal strength throughout the home and we have 6 Internet boxes and 5 laptops and the signal has been strong.

I've gone through many routers over the past few years, and I'd say so far this is my favorite. It has an amazingly long range, including on the 2.4 and 5GHz N-bands. Setup was very easy and trouble free, although I'm not a fan of the unique SSID and password being printed on the router and the manual suggesting that you not change the SSID so it doesn't match the one printed on the label. It is also huge with a huge power brick so make lots of room for it, just not on your wall since it can't be wall mounted. Finally, it has been extremely reliable and has only required 1 reboot over the past few months I've owned it, which is unheard of to me.
