I purchased the router to network my devices in my home. My old router had trouble transferring the information from my individual devices, but this router loads very quickly and there is very little lag. I tried several routers to eliminate all lag while streaming a movie from my computer, but could not find one that could stream like Netflix does. As car as connection and Internet speed, I have no problems and my reception has extended to areas of my yard where my connection used to drop. Additionally, I was told by best buy that none of my devices could yet utilize the 5g connection, but most of my devices will connect and seem to stream faster on the 5g band. I was also told the unit was very large, but I found the unit to be reasonably sized. The unit does have a large surface, but it is very thin and fits on my window seal with ease. Overall a great product, but if your not transferring data from device to device I would say you don't need this router.

Easy setup, fast, had multiple devices running all at the same time with some streaming games and video. Worked flawlessly.

I am very happy with the signal strength and coverage of the signal. The Netgear Genie is almost too simple to set up. I have trouble getting my Dell laptop to connect and the Genie doesn't have enough "advanced" choices to allow me to tweak the connection. Once connection occurs, it is fine but it is hit or miss.

Okay so I use to own a Linkeys but after upgrading my internet speeds I did not notice any difference. I went online and checked my speeds and I wasn’t getting even half what I was paying for. After searching all options I decided it was the router. I had a few bucks to spend and use the internet a lot so I went big and bought the best on the market and boy I am not disappointed. This gave me more speeds than what I was paying for and the internet is quicker than ever just wish my computer was lol. The only disappointing thing about this was the app they call the Genie. It is supposed to stream your music from your phone to your router so you can listen to your music on your TV or anything connected to your internet well at least that’s what I thought. It doesn’t do anything and is totally useless. they really need to update that or just should have left it out because it would have gotten a 5 from me if they didn’t have it or if it did what is supposed to do. However the router is worth every penny so if you have to money and use the internet often pick this up.

Great router and very easy to set up online, took me just a few minutes. Signal is very strong throughout the house.

This Netgear router was easy to install and has excellent range. Able to access it throughout the house and yard.

My previous router was a Netgear wnr-1000. With the use of laptops, tablets, cell phones, and streaming all over WiFi in a larger home it was time for a change. Having NOT experienced any issues with my previous netgear I looked at the r6300 but also the high end Asus (direct clear-cut competitor). The intent was to get a router that could handle all of our devices with better range while future proofing at the same time. What ended up being the deciding factor since both routers were neck and neck was the GUI and Genie app for PC and moreover Android offered by the r6300. Disappointed this was my deciding factor since I can no longer log into the app from ANY device...always times out. The Asus also had VPN pass through which this does not. A bit of buyers remorse but still a good product. I'm over 30 days in and as of yet no loss of signal, no need to reboot, no issues. Heavy streaming from external drive directly to router via USB share to Xbox is nice and connectivity to 7 devices plus at once (actually pulling data) poses no issues.

We recently replaced our router and selected this netgear wireless AC router. I can not say enough about this product...easy to install/set up, excellent speed and coverage. Use multiple devices and can stream videos without issue. This was not the case with the last router we had. Love, love this produce....

Bought this for gaming, it holds all of my devices. A few DSN issuse on the Xbox though.

I have 19+ devices hooked up to this thing, no lag what so ever. The range is fantastic aswell.

I originally bought a netgear nighthawk ac1900 but returned it because it was slow and the internet would cut out sometimes on it. I decided to try this one out because it was on sale and it works better for me than the nighthawk. No problems at all and way faster. Not sure if the nighthawk was defective but i'm sticking to this one.

This router was purchased as a replacement. Compared to our previous router it is much more reliable and is able to connect easily with all of our many devices (2 desktops, 3 laptops and 4 phones) without sacrificing very much speed. The only issue so far that we are not thrilled about is that you can not change the user name to anything other than the one assigned to it by the manufacturer.

Nice product works well, signal is strong. Would buy again. A little bit pricey tho.

updated my old router with this one and could not believe the range and speed of this router.

Bought this router after my older router quit working. I have multiple devices in a 2800 sq ft home and it does the job for the whole house. A little pricey but totally worth it and the setup was easy.

Simply fast. pages load very quickly and the distance it covers is great.

Great router I get great signal strength. You can have several devices connected to this router's WiFi network running simultaneously and it will not slow down performance. Very easy to set up and network administrator options and controls are very easy to use.
