Excellent mid to high end Cable/DSL router

Supports all the popular wifi types, multiple networks, auto channel detection, QOS, etc. The bad...supports Site Blocking, but only to a single computer, not to a list of computers. Parental Controls are thru OpenDNS and I'm just not a fan of their setup. Service Blocking is IP address dependent forcing you to get into DHCP address reservation. As usual, you trade convenience for security.

We want to thank the Salesman who recommended this device; not only can we connect to the internet anywhere in the house, but, also with regards to the VOIP, we have 4 portable phones located in several rooms and the reception is excellent. You have nothing to fear when you use a Wireless-AC Gigabit Router with 4-Port Ethernet Switch NETGEAR!

Fast Wireless and Wired Router.

I was using the router provided by Comcast. The Comcast router does not take advantage of the upgraded service speed option. This router makes full use of the available bandwidth from Comcast. NetGear Genie is a great configuration and management tool.
