This is an excellent router, very powerful and fast. With my old router I was having connection problems in certain rooms and this router fixed the issue. I now have 3 Rokus in different rooms (2 are on a different floor) and all can be streaming simultaneously. It's a bit pricey ($200 when I bought it) but I guess the performance justifies the price. I encountered a minor snag when setting it up, called customer support, and they were friendly and helpful.

I use this in conjunction with a Netgear cable modem to replace the all in one device that my ISP sold me. I will never go back to an all-in-one unit again. The speeds are much faster and the WiFi range is exactly what I was hoping for. I can go anywhere in my house and get good signal.

Began having problems with an older R6200 wireless router. Was using the R6200 and an extender to get coverage throughout the house. The R6300 negates the need for the extender, showing greater range and signal strength. Setup is simple and straightforward, especially security features.

My previous router kept losing connection and I kept calling my internet service provider. They would go into the router and change the ports and I'd still lose connection. I did some research and found this router to have good reviews so I bought it. I haven't lost connection since.

My home has multiple items that need to use Wi-Fi connections. Thermostat, refrigerator, 2 laptops, DirecTV Receiver, Tablets,TV's etc. I have had several routers in the past and always had connection problems with items dropping off and not staying connected! I thought the N900 was magnificent, but this router even exceeds that by far! I have no connectivity issues whatsoever! EVERYTHING is always connected and stays that way. Even if you have a larger home this will indeed do its job beyond your expectations. My home is well over 3000 sq ft and there are still no connectivity concerns. This purchase WILL be worth EVERY penny!

My old router didn't have the range I needed in a medium sized house. The Netgrear router has excellent range, I have 5 bars where I used to have 2. It's also fast and easy to set up.

This was very easy to set up and synchronized with our devices easily. I liked the previous router and was going to go with the same brand but the Net Gear was highly recommended and rightfully so. Great product.

The router was easy to hook up. It only took 30 minutes to set up the router with the fast Wi-Fi and the guest Wi-Fi. It has a longer range and is faster than the one it replaced.

Great router for the money. Goes through the house well with good coverage. The hook up was easy and quick. Very little down time holds up well during bad weather. The price was competitive and low.

I didn't apparently need 5G. This gave me reliability, speed, and coverage where my prior router fell short. I would not pay up to 5G next time if I could get a lower cost model.

For the money this is a fantastic router. I use it for two amazon fire TVs, one smart tv, several mobile devices and at least one laptop. It handles everything extremely well and has never dropped signal.

This router seems to handle many devices with ease (we have roughly 15+ devices that use wi-fi in the house) with one exception - if we are watching 2 different Netflix movies at the same time (on 2 different tv's). It will buffer several times.

I recently updated my 10 year old Netflix router with this new one and the range is unbelievable! I live on a 1/2 acre and can still stay connected even when I'm at my neighbors house. Setup and installation was easy and haven't had any problems whatsoever.

The router instructions were easy to follow and it came online perfectly. Is easy to add other devices to the network, and security appears to be adequate; just remember to change the passwords.

This router is performing great. My only note for people is that you have to be online to finish the install. If you have issues getting the wifi to work this could be an issue if you only have an iPad, MacBook air or something without an Ethernet port.

This router was a last ditch effort for me. I had previously had a linksys router, and had to restart it about every three days. It would lease out the same IP address to different items in the home and then get confused. I decided that if I was going to purchase a new router, I was going to get an AC router so that it would be current for as long as possible (I don't purchase routers more than every 4 or 5 years). The Netgear router performed very well in our home. We have somewhere more than 20 wireless items in our home and had no problem connecting any of them. This includes SONOS systems, cell phones, laptops, tablets, ereaders, thermostats, amoung others. The netgear fully covered all of them and we haven't had any IP conflicts since its instillation. The speed of our internet has dramatically improved, and I have come to the realization that the old router was holding that back as well. According to speedtest.net we had been getting 2 or 3 mbps down and with the new router we are getting 18-19 consistantly (disclaimer, RCN has us paying for the 20 mbps tier). The Netflix and Amazon prime streaming on the Sony is now hiccup-less and efficient. The media USB ports on the back were icing on the cake. The interface is relatively easy to figure out, and the fact that it lets you assign a 2.4 and 5 ghz network AND GUEST NETWORK for both is great! The only downside, is that the item did not have very clear instructions to figure out the interface. If you are scared of the tech, this may not be the item for you. It also gives you a standard password, and ID and recommends that you don't change it. This seems like really bad advice and I'd certainly recommend coming up with your own passwords and SSIDs. So, all in all...get this one if you are looking to hook up your whole home and can figure stuff out for yourself!

Used an older router. Had dead spots in the outer rooms of house and clubhouse in back yard. Made switch have coverage everywhere even front yard. Connects easily set up was easy even has guest password which was easy to setup. Very nice looking goes well with decor in house not an eye sore like some. Connected to ps3, Apple TV, 3 iPads, 2 galaxy phones and 2 android wifi phones, and 2 dish sling boxes. No problem streaming anything on any device. Glad I made this choice.

Great speed and reliable wireless connection. Have owned the product for over a month now, and have yet to have a single issue with the connection. Easily is able to support 3 smart phones, 3 laptops and 3 Xbox simultaneously streaming and gaming.

Of all of the routers I have owned, this router was by far the easiest router to set up and connect devices too. Anyone could do it. The signal is strong in most places in my house, but it still doesn't reach one of the bedrooms and some of the basement areas. I have a 70s built home with brick, plaster walls and a lot of wood, so perhaps that's the problem. We had the same problems with other routers, but we thought this one would fix it. A little better, but still not perfect. In all of the other areas of the house, the network just rocks though!

Love this new router. Much more functional than the one I replaced. It is far easier to connect a new device to my network and I am alerted when other devices try to connect to my network.
