The phone jack for my dsl that gets the fastest speed is located in the back of my house, and my office is in the front. This is the first router that has enough range to connect to my pc without having to use a range extender. Set up was a breeze. So far I haven't even had to reset the router while having over 15 devices (tvs, blue ray players, laptops, cell phones, xbox, ps3, wii) connected to it. A little pricey, but definitely worth it for me to get the extra range.

Upgraded wifi for those times when all the family visits. We regularly have at least 5 phones and 3 tablets sharing wifi, and could go up to 8-9 phones and 7 tablets. This has done the job. I set it up in minutes using my iPhone. Well pleased.

When my old router died I went to Best Buy and decided to try the new NetGear R6300v2 WiFi Router which I had researched on the internet...I had never tried NetGear routers before - I was so amazed at how easy it was to set up - I was up and running in minutes and haven't had a problem since. The Genie App is terrific I love the fact that you can visually see what it attached to your network by a little diagram. It truly is an amazing router. I liked it so much I also bought one for a friend's birthday and set it up for them. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

The reason I decide to purchase the router because I have wifi extender from netgear as well. set up is simple but be careful when choosing the right channel to transmit the signal because sometimes breaks and gets disconnected. I decided to fix the problem on my own since netgear technical service is terrible and put me on hold for long period of time I chose to take matter on my own. good product for streaming video, email, browsing but don't know about hardcore gaming since I have it wirelessly connected to my pc.

By far the best router I had ever purchased, has great speed and excellent coverage, I would highly, I mean HIGHLY recommended this router to any one that is looking for a superior performance over the other routers out there., I have been though so many routers and this is the first that I could even think about recommending. You will not be sorry if you purchase this router.

Bought this as a replacement for a router that stopped working. The old router was about 3 years old and was not connecting to our laptops anymore. Paid the extra money for this one, 199.99, so I hope this router last longer than three years. Installation was very simple and the router performs quite well. The only problem with this router is you will also need a modem. My old router also had a modem built in. The whole installation process to install the new modem and router took about 35 minutes. Time will tell if it was worth the extra money.

We have had issues in our home for a few years now with wifi coverage. I have used bridges, signal boosters, and all that, but they just didn't cut it. This router not only has the coverage we needed, but it also has incredible speeds! We stream Netflix and use to have issues. I thought it was the software, but it ends up that it was the signal. Although I think a $150 price point woudl be better, I still recommend the router to everyone.

Prior to owning this, my internet was patchy at best. I'm by no means an expert in these types of technology, but I definitely have not had any problems streaming Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, or any video games. I would recommend.

This router has really good range, the settings assessible through your pc or mobile device, I've had it about 9 months and have had no issues with it at all. I would recommend ths router for anyone looking for an AC router.

Very good product! Fast and dependable, I never lose signal when there are multiple devices at the same time. Excellent for large homes.

This router was easy to set up. Wireless range is perfect for my 2800 sq ft three level home. USB storage port is easy and fast. USB printer port takes a little more effort to set up but works great for Windows and Mac.

I had the model below this one which was a decent model until I made this purchase. Having the ability to utilize the Netgear Genie app with Apple iOS, Windows and Android makes it easy to see how good your signal is along with the connection speed. We have 3 PCs, a laptop, a netbook, 2 iPads, 2 cellphones, Playstation 3, Xbox, 2 DVD players and a TV utilizing the wireless signal. You have a 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz signal to choose from. The 5 ghz signal is just beginning to catch on.

I did not intend to purchase this router when I went to the store. However, after seeing the price I couldn't pass it up. I decided not to buy the model number above this one as the main difference I could see was in the number of USB ports; a non factor for me. The product has been great, covers my whole place inside and out (large 2 bedroom apt.), the speed is fantastic (I only pay for 8 Mbps Internet service and it's still fast enough for 1080p streaming), and the set-up was a breeze! Would highly recommend it!

I was torn as to which AC* Router to get, but I landed with this one. I hooked it up and saw over 70Mbps when before I got 27Mbps on my N* Router. GREAT PRODUCT!

Our internet was really slow and was constantly going down so we knew we needed a new modem. The salesman recommended the netgear and it works so much better!

Easy to install. Just plug in and go. Little pricey but worth it b/c get great coverage around thick wood and stone walls.

In a family were every one has there own phone,tablet,or pc it keeps speeds blazing. Guest account- Allows friends to sign in to a special account for convenience,but leaves your main account safe and secure. With dual-bands from b,g,n,ac, and a huge range, any device can connect easy as 123. Comes with secured password,but allows input of personal passwords for convenience or increased safety precautions. To many extra features to list, but support help or manual makes set up a breeze.

Had previously been using an older Netgear model that was beginning to show its lack of performance... upgraded to this higher end model and began to notice significant performance gains on our laptops, especially during VPN use back to my work office. We currently have 4 laptops, 2 desktops, 3 smart phones, 2 bluray, an xbox and a smart tv connected to this router and it is performing very well. Price is a bit high, but feel this was money well worth spending for our performance gains.

This has an attractive look and so easy to set up. Signal strength is great. Covers a large area with multiple devices.
