Works well once the driver is installed. Disappointed that the driver needs to be downloaded from the internet before you can use the adapter to connect to the internet.

For reasons I can’t explain other than my ability to connect wirelessly no longer worked in my laptop. I purchased this netgear dusl band wireless adapter, plugged it into my laptop and problem solved. I now once again am able to use my laptop wirelessly. Great device for the money. Highly recommend it.

Just what I need since our ethernet connection has many issues

With pandemic isolation and moves to Zoom, Webex and the like showing the inadequacy of my otherwise competent laptop and home wireless network, installing upgrades including a tri-band router and adapting the computer for current demands was accomplished using this adapter.

Needed it for for a backup since my max wifi module decided to stop working. Pros: Very Small and compact. It’s low profile and might work best with a windows machine. Cons: The drivers are out of date. Last drivers are from 2020 and are not compatible with Mac Catalina or Big Sur. It’s such a big issue as there documents have not been updated in a long time.

The ONLY reason to get this is if your internal WIFI doesn't work at all, and even then it is questionable. While set-up was easy, it showed no advantage over my laptop's internal WIFI, despite the claims it would be faster and signal strength would improve. In fact, signal strength did not improve nor did download/upload speeds, and it cut out frequently with SpeedTest often showing "No internet". I will be returning this.

I returned the product. Did not need for my build. Netgear is a quality product. Recommend

I needed one of these for my gaming PC, because my mother board doesn't have built in wifi. When I plugged it in the USB it was horrible. Had only one bar of wifi and it kept going out. Their support doesn't help either. Save up your money and definitely buy a more expensive one.

Worst internet chip ive ever used, i would rather just go outside and do something else than even try to connect on this slow chip. Before this I had a terrible chip that gave me around 50 Mbps, after spending $50 on this chip i got around 7. Waste of money, easy to lose, and terrible speeds.

Working well for now. My PC doesn't come with a wifi card so this was a great alternative instead of using the internet cable.

This item was purchased to restore wi-fi on my PC. Was in stock, purchased and installed. Wi-fi now working as good as ever.

I bought this to install on an old laptop that didn't support connecting to 5.0 GHZ wifi bands. It works well for that purpose, though the way I initially set it up prevented it from starting up one time and I had to reinstall Windows to make it work again.

This was a quick and easy fix when my desktop computer could no longer detect the WiFi signal in my home. Thanks to the Geek Squad for recommending it!

Have to download drivers for it. Good if can down load it like through either net or the like. Just follow included instructions

Had a issue with computer but it was determined later to be an internet problem. Adapter not needed and was returned with ease.

I needed to connect at the same time to 2 different networks with my laptop. One local network and one external, worked nice for what I needed.
