Adding Mesh Range Extender

My local WIFI provider did not have anything remotely similar in price range or effectiveness to handle a drop in connection speeds (after 9 trouble-free years) for the highrise flat I live in.

Frustrating and Ineffective

Setup was OK using the app, but the app’s instructions are inconsistent with Netgear’s online guidance and this is sloppy and confusing. The device stays very hot, there’s no improvement despite all efforts, and the device simply does not stay findable via its app. It is incapable of working with more than a single device when it does connect after much effort.

It seems to pick up the cold areas in the corners of a room where the wifi signal might not be too strong. Also the customer service is great with netgear
