I never recommend extenders unless absolutely necessary. Most extenders force you to create a new network and I don't believe devices are smart enough to auto-switch yet. I purchased this one because it claimed to join the same network with same password and ID. That part was not as simple and straight forward, the app, still has language indicating that it wants to create a new/different network. I looked passed it and still attempted to use, but while the signal claimed to be a strong one, it was incredibly slow. I returned it to store, not worth it. And this is an expensive one, not worth it. My stance is still "never use extenders" unless it's for a specific project/necessity. I would recommend a mesh wifi system.

Great return easy to do I liked the product but it stopped working intermittently had to grab another.

Straight forward setup. Well made. Allowed us to add an Ethernet cable for our Arlo hub / security cameras to a StarLink system. All connections seem solid.

I needed help from tech support to connect it to my night hawk router, but it works well.

It does the job. It boosts my signal downstairs and I have had no issues streaming.

This is a waste of money. Setup was OK using the app, but the app’s instructions are inconsistent with Netgear’s online guidance and this is sloppy and confusing. The device stays very hot, there’s no improvement despite all efforts, and the device simply does not stay findable via its app. It is incapable of working with more than a single device when it does connect after much effort.

Improves connection to my Sonos speakers without dropping signal.

The was a great purchase because it helped pick up the internet signal better in the room further from the internet tower.

Works great. It uses same name as router so your network is only one.

Needed it to provide HDMI for my TIVO in the basement

Not as easy to setup as they say. Finally figured it out after an hour or so.

This does not seem to be compatible with our existing Netgear extender.

Within 3 months of purchasing this product, it failed. Which happens. The problem I have is with their support. I operate a business, and I paid the $40 to have this overnighted - which their customer service agent told me was an option. The next day, they contacted me acting like this was some high-tier, gift-from-god product and it could NOT be overnighted because its 'too valuable'. The ONLY option was to do standard, which is 2 weeks. I refuse to ever support a business that does a bait and switch, especially with their support services. Beware ever purchasing or supporting an awful business like Netgear.

Using it in mesh extender mode with router and it works well enough

I got it hone and found out thay I didn't need it at all per technicians recommendation.

My family was having wifi fading in and out. With this product if fixed those anoyying problems. 100% internet all over the house.

Connection issues, have to reset it often to keep devices connected, at first i thought it was the TV but then multiple devices had same issue, resetting the extender fixes it temporarily
