Can’t even use Ethernet port.

It doesn’t work. Called netgear tech support twice. Didn’t fix it. And I was told the Ethernet port can’t be used to run internet to the console it’s only to wire the extender to a router. Doesn’t even make sense. Doesn’t work. Don’t buy.

Also have an issue with it stopping signal randomly and we have to reset it manually weekly. We had better signal with just the router. Would not recommend.

Not very interoperable

Every time I plugged it in. It brought my network to its knees. I had to return it quickly and not spend time troubleshooting as Best Buy implemented a horrible 14 day return policy. This will greatly limit what I buy from Best Buy in the future

Very disappointing...

It was clumsy to set up, and dropped the signal more often than the router did on its own. Returned and replaced with a mesh system.

Did not work as advertised

The modem is on one side of the house and I wanted to use my wireless devices on the far end. Well 3 walls later and about 100 ft, and no deal!

Worthless

Put it next to the router, 30 feet away and everywhere in between with no change in speed for devices needing it. Also took 3 hours and multiple tries to get it to setup. Kept failing in its last step. It’s junk, not even worth the time. Then again it’s netgear and their quality is pretty low.

I spent a lot of time on the phone with net gear techs and they could figure it out. they told me to bring it back. I did and no luck with a new one. I ended up just getting a pod from comcast. problem solved and it was the same price

I try every now and then but still no luck! But I will not give up the fight, for almost a $100.00, I an gonna get this darn brick to work!

Sporadic connection, reduced speeds
