The wifi range extender was very easy to set up. I’ve been using it for over a year and have yet to have any connectivity issues. I had a weak wifi signal in basement and this solved the issue. The password will be the same as the main router. The setup time was around ten minutes

The Netgear range extender arrived on time and works great. I couldn't get a wifi signal on my patio before. Now I get a good signal.

Have a 3-story townhouse, and had to have the cable router installed in a corner of the first floor. So-so downloads on the 2nd floor, and a lot of drops on the 3rd. Easy installation , can move it around, looks like R2D2's cousin, and best of all... It WORKS. Great residential unit.

Being I'm not computer smart, product was hard to active but after getting on the web site for Netgear (www.mywifiext.net), was easy as 12, 3 to install and active.

Thank goodness for this affordable extender! our house isn't that large, but there is a brick wall between the addition and the original house that blocks the wifi from getting thru. Having this allows 4 occupants to all work from home simultaneously from anywhere in this house. its super easy to setup also and have it use the same password as the Xfinity wifi.

Purchased this wifi extender to increase my homes wifi in the kitchen and living room area. Living room just bought new Roku smart tv . TV now reads " connection excellent" before it said "connection poor" .! Great product ,super simple to set up.

I was only getting 2-3 bars on my wifi signal, but with this I have a full signal all the time. Inexpensive solution and easy to setup.

I purchased this for my brother's place, which is much bigger and the wireless router is in one corner of the house. the setup was easy, and it does help with stronger connection. However, just like ethernet is more efficient than wifi, so is this extender is less efficient than directly connecting to the wifi. Again the purpose is to boost signal so no complaints. It would have to be reset every now and then, but it is a better experience from prior similar products i have owned.

I was looking for a reasonably priced wifi range extender to improve the signal on the upper level of my home. My modem is on the lower level of 2800 sq. ft. home, it has built in wifi and it has always been adequate for our cell phones to use anywhere in the house. We just recently bought a new "smart" TV, with some nice features available if my wifi signal was strong enough on the upper level. The TV is at the opposite end of the house on the upper level (basically as far away from my wifi modem as possible). Enter the Netgear N300, in less than 15 minutes I had it connected, plugged in in the living room near my new TV and "Voila'" ! All the smart features are available now. No problems with signal dropping from wifi now, signal strength great, speeds are excellent.

This NETGEAR N300 Wi-Fi Range Extender works great. I use my iPad to stream video in the upstairs bedroom and the router is in the exact opposite part of the house. The video would freeze and stop many times. The range extender was simple to set up and I plugged it in at a location that is half way. Now the video plays with no issues. Thanks.

Set up is easy, works great! I recommend this to anyone having issues with poor WiFi signals in your home.

So the last range extender we bought was at least 5 years ago. It was HUGE compared to this. This little plug in unit ( about the size of an air freshener) works great. Yes, you will have some initial issues with re setting your other internet related devices but not hard to fix. Worth the affordable price.

It increased the signal strength in my basement. It worked as advertised.
