I found it's best to place the unit so that there is a green light for the connection to the source router. If the light is amber on the client side that's OK. The connection has been solid and the speed is very good.

Small apartment with thick walls

Due to the layout I couldn't receive a stable connection. after adding this range extender problem solved. It took maybe 5 minutes to setup.

It works great, no more lost signal in the back office. It was really easy to set up with the directions that came in the box, it only took me about 5 minutes.
