Although the instructions specified a specific adapter & Best Buy did not have it, the store rep told me he thought it would work, but if it didn't, I could return. So, I had to order it on-line.

I never got this product to work with my system and returned it. I ended up keeping the product that I used previously which seems to work okay with my new router.

OK, I'm not a huge fan of USB wireless cards for the PC or laptops but sometimes it's necessary. If you have to get one, I wouldn't get this one. I have a little bit of experience in the IT world so I'm pretty confident in my abilities to put in a CD, let the software install, insert the device when told and connect to the correct SSID when prompted. I can even put in the network key without even looking it up (Dad, can you enter the network key in <insert device name here> for me - after about 50 times, you tend to remember things like that). I had the PC 10' from the router and the PC my GFs son uses for gaming (brand spanking new Dec/2016) would intermittently connect to the network. No issues with game consoles across the house on the second story. I did everything from looking for newer drivers to testing on other devices. It is possible I got a dud on this purchase but it just solidified my stance on USB wireless cards. I buried this one out in the back yard, rather than return it for a refund, to pay it forward for some other person who may possibly be the recipient of a 'refurbished' device that came from me. Whoever you may be, you are welcome! Feel free to buy me a drink if you ever see me.

I purchase the wireless adapter so that my boys could have internet connection for their desktop in their bedroom. Some days it works fine and some days it does not work at all. The connection is slow.

It may be the quality of my wireless signal, but we have to unplug and reconnect this adapter often (sometimes more than once a day). When it works, it works well.

was told that this was mac compatible but it is not. Cant speak to the product as it never worked on my machine, but not happy with the knowledge of sales associate at the store.

I orginally bought it for my pc but it didnt supportt linux os so i was unable to use it. I was also dissapointed that it wasnt plug and play. The price was also way too high for what you get.

My internet is 100mbps and I can only get 31mbps out of this card other devices get 433mbps and I have a very good router just a poor speed with this adapter only

Got to use it for a week. It sticks out a bit and I bumped it. It split and broke beyond use. Needs to be built a bit more sturdy. Was an expensive hit to take.

Works well most of the time but when downloading it moved at a snails pace. Once I plugged directly in I went from an 8 hour download to 20 minutes

This adapter has limited use and range. Doesn't consistently stay connected. Tech support is even worse.

Store clerk knew exactly what I needed for the DSL provider I have. He did not try to sell me a more expensive piece, just what I needed.

This product is perfect for getting Wi-Fi to another floor in the house. I use it on a older computer without 8011n, so its much faster Internet now.

Purchased this item to repair issues with older laptop wi-fi connect ability. Ended up returning item before using and replaced laptop

It works fine! I just don't like how long it is... I always feel like it will break or bend and I will have to buy a new one

I could not get this to work with my HP All-in-One on Windows 10.

My husband could not set this up for his laptop that lost its wifi board. He was told it was easy to do by BB sales person.

If you're not downloading or streaming anything large this works fine and is a good value. Easily knocked off line and need to reset often

While it enabled the computer to work it was not big enough to make it operate fast. I should have bought the one with more capability.
