Was looking for a very specific Philips Wi-Fi dongle that was not carried in-stock. This unit was recommended as one that should work with my Philips Blu-Ray player, but in fact is was not compatible.

Worked, Off and On, For a Month

The product worked, off and on, for exactly one month, just long enough so that Best Buy wouldn't take it back and NETGEAR will only replace, not refund the cost of, the item.

This item was fast when it worked. But the unit would randomly switch to "limited connectivity" every couple minutes. The only fix was to unplug and replug the unit. I returned this for a higher AC model and haven't had issues since.

I bought this as a cheap thing to get by on for a while after I built myself a computer and forgot to add in a wireless card. After spending an hour in the aisle at best buy, this seemed like it would get me by for a couple of months, but this thing is totally worthless. It constantly drops my internet signal, even when I'm not doing anything major- like playing mahjong and the only way to fix it is to unplug it from the usb port wait a couple of seconds and plug it back in. I have to do that about two times a night after getting home from work. Just save yourself some time and frustration and get something else.

Would have returned it but I'd waited too long to try it out. Had a decent Wifi signal but the adapter kept dropping out or just not connecting. Not worth the $$.

Seems to have a very sensitive "short-circuit" that causes screen interference (like static on a t.v?) Was a Christmas gift so will return it when I get reciept.

Had to turn off the wizard and install only the drivers for it to install with a non-Netgear router. Almost, gave up I tried so many times. Once installed it seems to be working just fine.

Maybe because it's lacking an antenna but my friend with a laptop and a USB dongle with an antenna was able to get much faster speeds.

This is an absolutely horrible WiFi Stick. It refuses to stay connected to any WiFi network I have used it with. I used the drivers from the CD-ROM to no avail. I tried downloading new drivers from their website. Didn't help. I even tried it with other computers. I only bought it because I was in a pinch and needed a WiFi adapter. I would have been better off not buying it in the first place.
