I ended up returning this device as the speeds are slow. Remember dial up? It's pretty much the same speed as 56k. My home internet speed ranges from 70 - 130 mpbs. I was getting less than 1 mpbs with this dongle.

This Wifi adapter is junk and wont even reach 10ft and when it does it disconnects right away and drops the signal with out stopping. PLease buy something else cause this is a waist of your time and money.

I replaced an old PCI Linksys adapter card for the N300. I couldn't get the PCI card talking to the new ATT Elevate Hotspot I bought. As soon as I installed the driver it found the hotspot with ease. The distance is a bit far and the Hotspot has about 3 bars of 4G signal. The N300 locks on and pulls a good signal. It has not disconnected yet, even after the PC hibernates. It is very fast and it seems it will be dependable so I bought another one for my other PC. I can also print to my printer with it and it seems to be as fast as an Ethernet connection to me. Time will tell but so far I would recommend it to anyone. I'm impressed.

The sales staff pointed me to this usb wifi dongle. It didn't work on Linux. Neither did the router they sold me, despite its claims of being compatible with all OS.

Unfortunately I had to return this item. It kept shutting down in the middle of downloads. It did not seem to be able to handle the speed of my service.

Bought to use with mobile hot spot. Came without driver. Was unable to connect to internet to download driver, so product was basically useless.

Would not work correctly at first and only worked. Worked fine for about 3 days now will only work about 15 minutes at a time.

USB ADAPTER INSTALLS QUICKLY ON AN OUTSIDE USB PORT AFTER RUNNING THE SET UP DISK. ONCE SET UP THE WIRELESS CONNECTION TO MY WIFI NETWORK WORKED IMMEDIATELY, AND I WAS ABLE TO GET EMAILS, INTERNET AND PRINTER ACCESS. A VERY EFFICIENT TOOL.

Very easy to understand setup. Great price. Works extremly well. No interference from any other equipment in the house (Cable lines, cell phones, computers, microwaves etc) I highly recommend this product if you want to add wireless hookup to your wireless router from a desktop computer.

Bought this to use with wireless and it didn't work. We ended up returning it.

As soon as i opened it and popped in the cd to install it... it blew up. jk. On a serious note this wireless usb network card works great. The speeds work great in conjunction with your router and internet modem speeds. It has a very wide radius in terms of how far it picks up your router signal. The installation process was very easy and the fact that u can either connect the USB directly to your computer or have a mounting jack for you to place away from your computer was a nice plus. The software that comes with the CD is actually very helpfull and easy to use. All in all this is definitely a good investment. I havent lost connection once since I installed it.

Returned it because I couldn't get it to work. No problem returning it to BestBuy.

I replaced the item from another technology company. My computer is now working better.

Works but not great. Had to load it 3 tiimes so far. Been a pain in the rear end to use

I purchased this adapter to connect my Dell laptop to my Netgear WNR2000 wireless N router so I can have the range and speed of a wifi-N network. My wife's HP laptop, which is much newer outperformed my Dell in connection speed and signal from the 3rd floor of our house. The router is on the 1st floor. This adapter gave my laptop a much needed performance boost. The software was seemless in it's installation and the 'WPS' push-n-connect feature made the connection process superfast.

Bad drivers, needs to be reset all the time. Very sensitive

Not worth 40 or free, going to have WLAN card fixed.

Not only is the signal nice and strong, it comes with a desktop mount, which is essentially an extension cord and stand. The stand is sturdy and perfectly weighted so you can place it on the top of the desk in situations where the desktop PC sits somewhere under the desk or tucked away somewhere. As a result, you have the versatility of putting the WiFi dongle wherever the signal is best. It works great without the extension as well. I have two of these and one of them I installed directly without the extension and the other I made use of the extension. In both cases the adapter works flawlessly.

I just bought this adapter today at a nearby Best Buy location, and i am very pleased. I was having range issues between the stock WI-FI chip and the modem router because my PC was located in my room on the second story. This was the cheapest adapter they had but exceeds all expectations. The range problem no longer exists and now I get five bars (full bars) of connection strength and an outstanding stable connection. So far and overall its a great product. Its very easy to set up and user friendly. It will take ten minuets tops.

I just changed from PCI Wireless Card to USB and what a difference. My computer is about 40 to 50 feet away from the router and I get a strong signal now. Before I had a PCI Wireless Card in my PC and I only got one bar of signal strength. NOW I AM ROCKIN AND SURFIN THE WEB. I happy with my purchase and I would recommend this product even if you only have a wireless G router. Wireless N is backwards compatiable and if you upgrade your router you will take advantage of all the features of this USB wireless device. Faster Speeds, Stronger Signal, Better Value.
