This USB adapter is great. Quick and easy to set up. Was needing to put two desktop PCs on to the wireless network, and this did the trick. They pick up the signal great and don't cause interference with my other wireless components. I love that Netgear puts in the box a cable and cradle so you don't have to worry about the USB stick getting knocked out of the PC. This also allows you to set the adapter our of the user's way.

    Excellent Wireless N Adapter

This was a breeze to setup, it took less than 3 minutes. In over a month of use it has not dropped once. Consistently has max bars 3 rooms from the router. This in an area where 9 other networks are 3 bars or better on signal strength. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this unit again.

After my Cisco Linksys wireless adapter gave out, I bought this product. The product was easy to use and worked immediately. The only thing the manufacturer recommends is to install their software prior to using the wireless adapter. The speeds accessed were as advertised or even better.

This was a business purchase to replace an aging Wifi connector in my laptop. After reviewing several products in the store, I selected this model based on price, performance and ease of use. I was not disappointed with any of these elements. The unit works well and the flexible antenna cord is a throwback to the old TV rabbit ears!

I installed this adapter in just a few minutes with no problems at all. I use it in a different part of the house than where my router is set up. It connects with full signal strength through three walls. I recommend this product as a very good purchase.

It's a good product. Comes with accessories to be able to keep it secure. I like this one for the cost. It does well keeping my computer online, especially with gaming. You pop it in the USB and it immediately goes to work, setting up for you. Simple!

This product was easy to set up and was able to increase my speed on the internet. My computer however at times will not recogize the device and will have to troubleshoot to get back on line. However I feel this is a result of my computer and not the device.

Good solution for difficult Wifi network

My home Wifi network includes a Netgear 300Mbps WN834Bv2 wireless N router*, but my laptop's built-in wireless adapter is usually in a low signal area at the opposite end of the house and cannot connect at high enough speed. I got good results for networking by adding an external wireless adapter, originally a Netgear WN311 *, but that adapter later failed. I tried a WNDA3100 dual-band Wireless N adapter* but found out it will only deliver similar performance if it is connected to a dual-band Wireless N router. So I looked for a replacement WN311 adapter*, but they are now obsolete. I found that BestBuy had the WNA3100 single-band Wireless N 300 adapter available, and talking to their helpful salespeople, I decided to try this one out. My alternative would have been to buy a new dual band router, which would have cost twice as much and necessitated upgrades to other wireless connected computers and games. Setup was a little difficult, as the Netgear setup program apparently didn't install the current driver on my Windows Vista laptop*. It took a while, and a service call to Netgear, to find and install the correct driver, and since then the adapter has worked even better than the previous WN311 device. I am back up to high speed internet access from the lowest signal coverage area of the router. After a month of use, I am quite satisfied with the new adapter, and have had no problems using it. I would recommend this adapter, and Best Buy's helpful salespeople for a job well done. --- *other products mentioned above were also purchased from Best Buy previously.

    Quick and dirty solution

I needed to quickly add an old system to a network where I didn't have wiring for network between floors. I also didn't want to have to figure out what card type I needed and didn't really want to open the case. USB to the rescue! Install as straight-forward. I only installed the included software because I didn't want to take the time figuring out Windows 7 networking bunk. The wizard is spot-on. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to quickly add a system to their wireless network,

I just installed this on my desktop pc running Vista. Had a very minor issue while trying to install it but after a few attempts, I got it. At first, I thought that I was about to return it because it was running so slowly & showed a very weak signal & then I realized that I was connected to a neighbors unsecured network. Once I accessed my network & entered in my access code, signal strength showed 8 of the 8 bars & the internet was just as quick as my computer directly connected to the router. So far, I think that it was a good buy.

I bought the wireless adapter so I could do away with the wired ethernet connection for a mini tower PC. I didn't find that the installation quite matched the documentation so the software installed but it wasn't quickly apparent. Even though I'm only about 15 - 20 feet from my wireless router I did find I had to use the extender to set the wireless adapter on my desktop rather than just plugging it into the usb port on the back of the computer to get a good connection.
