I bought this with a Netgear N Router for a desktop that doesn't have a built-in wireless connection. Even thought router in on the first floor at the other end of our house and the laptop is on the second floor, I've haven't had one connection issue. A Geek Squad member recommended this with the router and I'm very happy with the product.

I bought this to add an older desktop to a home WiFi network that uses a Netgear router and it could not have been easier. Plug into a USB port, press the button on the wireless adapter, press the button on the router and they both sync. You're in business. Don't have to worry about entering passwords or anything. Couldn't have been easier. Took longer to open the package than to actually get it up and running.

My old pci wifi from 2008 was going out on my desktop. I purchased the USB wifi adapter initially concerned about its performance over USB. I'm happy to report its performance is amazing! Works great for video conference, gaming, and streaming media! I love that it also came with a dock for the usb dongle for optimal reception, that's a win! Would give a higher score if supported 5ghz.

This is a great adapter. So many times, technology pieces are billed as "easy to install" when they turn out to be the opposite. Well, this NetGear Wireless Adapter is truly easy to install. It was so easy that I made it harder than it needed to be thinking I needed to do more than I actually did. I'm very happy with it. I use it with a desktop computer and it's incredibly powerful. I stream MLBTV on it nightly and it's so smooth that I forget I'm watching the ballgame on a computer.

I've tried a variety of other wireless adapters that just didn't seem to work well with my desktop computer and or my internet provider, but this NETGEAR-N300 adapter has proven to me to be a good product, easy to install,easy to use, i recommend this adapter to anyone needing an adapter for their internet connection.

I had .02 mbps download speeds on my previous unnamed wireless adapter and I just installed this and my internet speed/download is through the roof. It's even faster than when I had an ethernet cord plugged into my desktop. It's easy to download, I'm at the room furthest away from my router and the signal is amazing. I was skeptical about the price given I'm a college student but it seems to be well worth it at the moment. Hopefully this will last .

I wanted to connect an upstairs desktop computer to the downstairs wireless router. At first I considered a PCI Express card, but, saw this in the local Best Buy and decided to try it. After plugging this adapter into a USB slot and following the installation instructions, I now have wireless internet upstairs. Very easy to install and less trouble than a card.

I had recently moved and was going to be boxing up my old hardline connection for a new wireless one. I was looking for a simple USB connection that would be easy to install and set up and I found it with this Netgear adapter. N-level for fast speeds and easy to connect with. Just plug it in and let Windows set it up, or you can use their enclosed software.

i recently moved into a friend's house and my setup is in the basement. i bought this as a temporary solution until i was finally able to run some ethernet cable. the product is kind of overpriced when you can get usb wifi n adapters online for under $20. this is best buy's Achille's heal, same with their $30+ hdmi cables. they could easily get the same volume pricing as any of their online competitors, anyways, i digress. this adpater worked fine until i used ANY bittorrent application. it would start to download fine, then instantly kill the entire connection. i'd have to unplug the adapter ti get back online. i tried a plethora of settings and used my knowledge to research the issue. it seems that it may be torrent-over-wifi in general, but i had past roommates using other adapters and it worked fine, so you make the call on this.

Easy to set up. Maintains connection. Good range. Bought for my mother, so it had to be easy!

Installation was a little quirky but after that the wireless works great. My router is on the other side of a large house and NEVER cuts out to my desktop. Its nice to not have to worry about cable jack placement on our desktop. On installation I had to reintall once to make the unit start to work.

I did not thing that my new computer on the 3rd floor was able to pick up the internet, because I already had an USB for the internet connection. I thought I would try a new brand and I now have 4 bars. Very easy to set up. Also I always have someone else set my computer up, I have very little knowelge about computers. I did it myself YEAH

when we changed ISPs we had to go to a wireless router and my old computer did not have wireless capabilities, so the installer told me what to buy. Although I thought the adapter was a little pricey, it was easy to install and works without a hitch-it was just what we needed.

What a great product!! I wanted to make my desk top into a lap top so I am not plugging anything into it other than the printer (which I may by another to make it wireless). Easy to pug, install, and small enough to put under the table. Nothing was wrong with it, and the sales person whom spoke with me on what he liked between a few products and this it was well worth the time and money!

It worked exactly as described. Great antenna we are in a 2 story bldg with alot of walls and metal and the reception to the wireless is great!!

Bought this for my dad, so he could get the internet in a back bedroom. It's pulling a signal through 4 walls, which is pretty good. The signal's not great, but solid enough for him to read some articles online and e-mail. If you have a Netgear router, setup's a breeze!

I have a computer in office in which we keep all accounting and financial records and I choose not to have it connected to internet except for updates to O/S and other software. I use this adapter and do updates and then remove it's connection from internet so I don't have to worry about hackers or employees wasting time surfing net. Super easy to setup with most routers.

Works great with my NETGEAR N300 wireless router!!! The speed is unbelievable. It's like I'm plugged in using cable. Not so sure if the case is the same when you are using other wireless router. But man, if you are using both N300s. Superb!
