It is a good product. After using it for a couple days, nothing went wrong. The only reason that I gave it a four was that it would usually stop working and just turn off the wifi.

Have had no issues with this wireless adapter! Thought about a wireless card for my desktop, but extremely happy with my choice to go with a USB wireless. Haven't had a connection problem since I purchased it, overall very satisfied!

The first one that I got did not work. Best Buy nicely exchanged it for another one. That one worked on my wife's laptop that is much newer. It did not work on my desktop computer on the front ports. I tried it on one of the back ports and it did not work. It is very hard to work get at the back of my desktop. I am saving it for when I get a newer desktop or move this desktop to a new location that does not have an ethernet connection.

Installed Windows XP SP2 in a former Vista laptop, could not read the WiFi card inside of it. Went out and bought this, now it gets WiFi perfect! Did what I expected it to do, that's all that matters!

It worked perfectly fine the first week I used it. After the first week everything went downhill. It overheats and stops working. It will work for a few minutes then shut off, So I have to unplug it and plug it back it for it to work, but for another few minutes- VERY ANNOYING. Downloads take forever, messages/emails don't send.. I wish I would have wasted my money.

The connection is fast. The setup and install were quick and easy. It is exactly what it is claims to be. No difference than previous WiFi that was part of system.

Easy set up, works fine, distance operation ok, just a 2.1 mhz G or N network device. The product has not had any failures or blips since installed, like a rock.

I got this product a week ago before doing any research (I guess this is the reward I get for not looking into what I buy) and I'm very disappointed with the performance. For the first few days it worked fairly well, decent reception and kept the connection consistent. A few days ago I started to get less than sub par performance (less than 2mb/s download on a 30mb/s connection). The connection frequently drops (sometimes more than twice an hour). In order to restore the connection you either have to do a soft reset through Windows troubleshooter or a hard reset by unplugging it and plugging it back in. It gets to be a real pain if you're doing anything that requires a consistent connection, such as gaming or watching a show on the internet. After doing some research I discovered that a lot of other people that bought this adapter have the same problem, leading me to most likely never buying anything from netgear ever again. I'm currently borrowing a $15 wireless adapter from my roommate which works infinitely better than this one. DO NOT BUY THIS

This piece was simple to install and easy to place for best wifi reception. Nice to have when your desktop has no access to a hard wire connection

Works great for me.. Sound and video quality is great, especially for the price.. I watch alot of movie and was skepticle about this product, but nope, works awesome..

We are able to use the internet to check our e-mails, go on facebook. Also be able to do other things related to the interenet.

I now use three of these and haven't had a problem yet. Holds onto a WiFi signal like a snapping turtle.

It works great with my new computer and the windows 7 operating system.

I live in a care center and there is always somebody new in the building so there is a new internet connection all the time.

The device functions and gets me a Wi-Fi connection most of the time. However, the range and signal strength is severely lacking. The router is less than 200 feet away and right now the coverage is not reliable. I've moved the thing around, have it mounted up as high as I can get it on a wall, but I still get only one bar and marginal reception. There is a big company's Wi-Fi that has a bigger better signal Blocks away, but as far as connecting to our own router it doesn't cut it. I realize raising the router above passers by would help the connection reliability most likely. This would be an OK device around a house, but when you are trying to hook up from a little distance forget it. Spend MORE money on a better unit if you are trying to connect with a commercial service.

This is a great wifi device. I have two of them. I use them both on a daily basis in my house. Neatgear is the way to go.

Bought for son's room as we needed addtional antenna for internet use -- works great! Son is able to use with no issues

No problems at all, connect right away. I've used it for over a month now and it has never failed.

It was very easy to install and I like that I can easily control access to the internet for some members of the family.

The adapter is OK. I do have some problems with it losing signal especially when I am on I -Tunes .
