I bought this adapter along with the Netgear WNR2000 router. The adapter worked great when it would stay connected. Every 30 minutes or so it would disconnect from the router and to fix it I would have to disconnect the adapter from my computer and plug it back in. This adapter has since been returned and replaced with the equally priced Linksys AE1000 Wireless N adapter. No problems with the new one.

I got this product back in December. The adapter that came with my computer was awful, so I got this as an upgrade. It if could hold the connection all the time, I wouldn't have an issue with the speed. However, that is not the case. It is constantly dropping the connection and I am forced to attempt to reconnect. Last night it happened again, but would not reconnect to my network. I know my network is fine, because multiple other devices worked without a problem. Now I am forced to go find another one.

My adapter arrived a week ago and I have spent close to 9 hours enraged by the fact that it can't maintain a connection with my Wi-Fi for more than about 45 seconds at most. I have tried all of the solutions it can suggest without calling the hotline, which you have to register online to be eligible for. As such I can't receive phone assistance and am forced to simply spend hour after hour resisting the urge to put my fist through a wall. I'm posting this review from my phone to help others. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK.

To start, the thing constantly disconnects... The drivers are absolutely awful, they need to be reinstalled constantly because of some problem between the drivers and windows... And if you were wondering if netgear was working to solve this issue.... Answer : NOPE, been a problem for a VERY LONG TIME, and many many others are having this issue and getting nothing but the same old response from them... Do not buy, spend a little extra get you something reliable...
