I needed to get my older desktop computer connected to the internet as quick and painless as possible. Running an ethernet cord wasn't going to work, so this was my next best option. I'm not using it to game or anything that needs a lot of bandwidth, so I have no complaint about the speed. Installation was easy and straight forward and I was connected to the internet in less than 10 minutes. Only reason it's 4 stars is because I could have ordered a similar unit from an online competitor for 1/3 of the price. I understand the markups needed for a brick and mortar store, but would have expected it to be someone more competitive.

I have use many USB WiFi adapters but this one pulled in signals from much further away and solid signals, so it didn't lose packets so the speeds were significantly faster than other models I tried

I needed temporary wifi access for my usually Ethernet connected desktop computer. Very easy to set up and worked fine. Much easier than installing a card in the computer. Reasonable price.

This is my first time to buy a NetGear wireless USB adapter and I didn't realize that it's so easy to get connected to the internet by just plugging it in. Excellent price and Excellent performance..

Works great and has allowed me to network my house and garage. Very easy to set up and manage. The Net gear Genie an easy to use interface and allows me to monitor and control access well.

I have not had one issue with this adapter. I have tethered my whole connection through a phone to this device and rarely have to restart it or unplug it. Great adapter at a great price.

The Netgear - N300 Wireless-N USB Adapter is priced right and does the job right out of the box. It installed easily with no glitches and received a signal from a distance with no problem.

We were traveling and had to take my husband's desktop with us for business. The only Internet access was wireless, so it was imperative to have a wireless adapter for him. Not knowing much about wireless adapters, I talked with the salesman at Best Buy and, after sharing my need, he agreed this was what I needed. Upon arrival at our vacation home, I connected this adapter, downloaded the software, and everything worked perfectly. We never had any problems or issues - Internet service and speed were always consistent. This was a very easy solution to our problem and worked way better than I expected! I couldn't be happier with the purchase!

Install and setup was fast and easy. I haven't had any problems with it. Speed seems to be on par with a built in card for casual usage, though I haven't done and speed testing.

Used on an old comouter that did not of wifi built in, works great can now get internet without hooking up. Always have a strong signal, great for basic web browsing & netflix!

I needed this to hook up a desktop computer that was no longer next to my router. It was extremely easy to setup and the speeds are great for the money. You can't go wrong with it.

It plugged in and worked with minimal and very simple set up. It works excellently on the several wifi systems that I've needed to connect with. It meets my needs perfectly.

Super easy to install. Works perfectly. Automatically goes back online when inserted into the computer. Was used to replace a non- function wifi card in the laptop.

Installed very easy and picks up signal very well. It is on the opposite end of my house as the router and it has not problem giving us a strong internet signal.

Pros: Easy setup and compatible with most systems. Cons: Drops WiFi signal randomly and doesn't seem to work with personal hotspots.

I purchased this adapter a month ago or so, and it took care of the problem I was having. My old Wifi adapter was provided by my Internet provider and never really worked well. Even when I contacted my provider they never looked at this Wifi adapter being the problem even though I said it seemed to be the problem. Well I decided to replace it after posting on a internet blog and someone pointed out my old adapter truly was the problem and made the recommendation to get the Netgear - N300 Wireless-N USB Adapter. It works great and my download/uploads speeds are high and consistent.

I've used this type of adapter before but this one was easy to set up and works wonderfully. No loss of bandwidth or speed as compared to being hardwired.

Good range and decent speeds depending on you router. Don't use disk if using with Win10 as it preferred the native drivers
