Last year, we got AT&T Uverse for the home computers and the technician gave us a free wireless adapter (uh-oh). Uverse never worked as well as they claimed regarding our desktop (website connections would just drop for no good reason), although it was great for the laptops around the house. Once the old adapter started to majorly fail (couldn't keep internet connection for more than a few minutes at a time!!), we bought this new one and I can't believe how fast and consistent the connection is. I WISH I HAD THIS ADAPTER FROM THE BEGINNING. Happy customer here.

Decent reliable USB Wireless Ethernet. Price point is fair, easy to install, good range even thru walls.

wow this product was so simple to install. It is also tiny and unobtrusive on my desk would recommend all netgear products.you wont be disappointed.

This USB adapter has similar function to a wireless network card, but is far more convenient. The range is a little shorter than the cards, but it still receives signal at appropriate distances through walls and other obstacles.

This product has worked out very well for me, allowing me not to have to contact service provider to install hard wire costing me more money.

This netgear does not work well within a motel room that has a supposedly wifi, This is not working good with my wifi, Maybe I am doing something wrong.

I bought this since my Ethernet port wasn't working. I had some worries if worked with my service provider's equipment (AT&T Arris) It worked no problem. Doesn't seem to have much problem surfing the web.

The network card on my laptop has become damaged so it can't connect wirelessly to the internet anymore. I bought this to fix that issue, plugging it in to a USB port and gives it a steady wifi signal with a decent range to it. The only downside is its large size, it really sticks out from the side of your laptop compared to some others that are mini size and barely stick out. If that isn't an issue for you then this is the product for you.

The setup was surprisingly easy, Its performance in a difficult environment has been excellent. I would recommend this product to my best friend.

This was the most cost effective wireless device for my needs. I had to have a desktop that could be moved. This way I don't have to rewire every time we move computer.

Netgear n300 wireless usb adapter is affordable, I was expecting a better performance but I guess that is what the higher priced model is for.

I find my inbuilt wifi adapter on windows laptop is having trouble connecting to some wifi hot spot. N300 work out of the box, no problems connecting to any wifi hot spot or access point.

I wanted to move my LAN connected Desktop but didn't want to run new lines from one floor to another. Using this wireless adapter works great and has excellent reception even at opposite ends of the house on different floors.

Simple to set up...step by step guide provided. Consistent reception, easy to read signal strength.

Net gear is a very good product, especially for distance to your wifi. My computer is upstairs and my hotspot is on the first floor. Product connected instantly.

Had to buy one so my laptop would connect to the internet again. It works great haven't had any issues with it at all.

I decided to give this item a chance and I do not regret it, works very well and it was a very affordable price.

When first installing this product it seemed pretty easy, put in CD and follow instructions. The tricky part comes in were it searches for your router and asks if you want to do their easy quick button feature where you push the button on the device and then you have to push the button on the router, the issue for new users is that the router must be a netgear and a newer one at that. Also that option over rides the wep key so there is no need to type it in. So more detailed instruction would be appreciated for the new users.
