This is my first wireless router experience at home. The device is easy to install w/USB connector. However, it doesn't always connect to my Wi-Fi device in close proximity and with 4G signal and excellent strength... frustrating.

Got better connection with this then my lan connection

I needed to make my desktop wireless in order to utilize my wireless printer from anywhere in the house. The setup was quick and easy. The representative recommended staying with the same brand on my wireless network devices, and the Netgear genie made it easy.

I bought this for an older machine I needed to access some files from across a network. I inserted the adapter into a USB port, and it was detected and connected me to my network with no fuss or trouble. The OS was windows XP.

I'm happy with my purchase as it was very affordable and got me back online.

This device allows us to connect pcs without wireless card. Works great!

Works fast! Great connection! Works well with wireless internet device.

Once I got the device to install it works quite well. Unfortunately the install app failed to recognize the device the first few times I tried. Ultimately a reboot allowed the installer to see the device.

Purchased both a netgear router and USB wireless USB, and both worked great.

A must have for anyone who needs to USB Wifi adapter

Was looking for a product to bypass direct hookup for my desktop computer. Easy to hook up and works quite good despite my modem and router two floors up . Desktop computer is in basement with no plug in to internet supply.

I am a part time gamer, full time student and an IT tech (I have to remote into systems) and this little wireless adapter works pretty good. I bought the current one to replace an identical old one, which lasted three years of heavy use. It can run into issues starting up with your system towards the end of it's life cycle. You'll have to manual unplug it, plug it back in and then connect to your network. Other than that it works beautifully. I never lost connect because of it, the setup wizard is quick, and the Netgear Network Setup Wizard will provide you with everything the Network and Sharing center would plus information about how the adapter is working, so you don't have to hop around for you system inform to see which device is causing an issue.

Perfect for its purpose. Provides a strong, easy to install connection.

I bought this because the wireless card built into my laptop broke. It was easy to install and it works. It is not the fastest but it was the cheapest one they sold at the store so I wasn't expecting much. But as far as value for money I think its a good deal. I can use wifi on my laptop again without paying for some expensive repair. It drops the signal sometimes but it reconnects automatically and quickly. I'm not entirely sure that isn't because of my pretty raggedy laptop so I don't really blame the wireless adapter:) I would definitely recommend this item.

Great solution for bedroom or officeif there is no connection for computer

My old PC doesn't have built-in WIFI so I needed this Wireless USB adapter to connect to the internet (modem/router are in a different room). Great value and easy set up! Highly recommended!!

Well had a laptop that built-in wireless adapter failed so needed something to cheap and easy to connect to wireless networks and thereby the Internet and this does that just fine.

This works fine. Purchased for a non-wifi equiped PC.

I had problems with my computer's wifi after it my hard drive was replaced and found the netgear wireless usb adapter was a great solution to my problem. The reasonable price was the orginal reason why I chose the product and I was not disappointed.
