    Used it on my desktop before I wired the house with ethernet through the walls. I currently have everything wired except my phones. The best and most stable connection is wired but this provided good access for the time. And still works I use it at work from time to time.

    My modum was connected to my desktop computer, an old Sony VAIO with Microsoft XP. My smart tv on a different floor would not connect to the modum. I was advised to move the modum closer to the television, laptop, and Nook. This worked, but did not allow internet service to my desktop computer. Installing this product fixed the problem. I am very satisfied.

    However after getting off line and trying to get back on line the next day it was not working.. I had to unplug and re-plug it a couple of time to get it to stay on. I could not get it to work in the holder and had to plug it directly into the back of the computer. Working fine now.

    The WiFi on my laptop quite working. I found the NETGEAR - N300 at Best Buy for a reasonable price. When plugged in, Windows 10 recognized it and it installed without any additional software. A lot less expensive than repairing the on-board WiFi. Only wish it were smaller.
